Breitbart to Media: The Gig Is Up - You’re Not on the American Team (3 Explosive Videos) "The gig is up. We figured you out. You're not on our team. You're not on the American team. ... This multi-cultural crap that you instill in our kids the second they get into college, and you separate them and pit them against each other so that you can get votes every election cycle, that's ending right now. ... Your Alinsky tactics to try and destroy Hannah [Giles], James [O'Keefe], and me: Bring it on!" Andrew Breitbart Conservative publisher Andrew Breitbart called out the mainstream media Saturday saying, “The gig is up. We figured you out. You’re not on our team. You’re not on the American team.” Speaking to a lively crowd at CPAC, Breitbart attacked the entire liberal establishment: “This multicultural crap that you instill in our kids the second they get into college, and you separate them and pit them against each other so that you can get votes every election cycle, that’s ending right now.” He marvelously continued, “Your Alinsky tactics to try and destroy Hannah [Giles], James [O'Keefe], and me: Bring it on!” Breitbart also had some choice words for his “friends” at the most liberal television news outlet on the planet asking, “Hey, how is that Watergate Junior story, MSNBC?” Online Streaming Andrew Breitbart of breitbart.com and biggovernment.com gets into a verbal altercation with liberal blogger/columnist Max Blumenthal at CPAC 2010. Must See Historic Videos: Why They Hate Me — Part II
Must See Historic Videos: Why They Hate Me — Part II "The evidence is irrefutable: Mexico passed dual citizenship because they saw California's Proposition 187 as a direct threat to their plan of conquest of California. They wanted millions of Mexicans to become U.S. citizens to 'vote in the interests of Mexico'" ~ Glenn Spencer Written by Glenn Spencer — American Patrol Report Sunday, 22 November 2009 05:38 Spencer Says the Reaction to Proposition 187 Opened His Eyes I have been fighting illegal immigration for 18 years. At first I looked upon it as a pocketbook issue. That’s why I backed California Proposition 187. Following the passage of 187 by an overwhelming vote, Art Torres said, “Proposition 187 was the last gasp of white America in California.” (This incredible utterance never reached the ears of the average Californian.) One year later Torres was made head of the California Democrat Party where he remained for twelve years. GlenntwoairplanesIt was the reaction to that California initiative that taught me that there was something else afoot - The Conquest of Aztlan, or the conquest of the American Southwest by Mexico. By 2001 I had heard and seen enough and produced a video - “The Conquest of Aztlan.” “Conquest” makes the case that illegal immigration is part of a plan of Mexico to retake the Southwest, which they believe was stolen from them. Thousands of these videos have been distributed throughout the U.S. I stand by every word in “Conquest.” That is why the open borders crowd hates me - not because they think I am a racist - they know that isn’t true - - they just don’t want the American people to be alarmed about what they are doing to us. They pin the label racist, or hate group on me to keep the mainstream media from reporting on what I say or do — and they happily obey. Please take the time to watch this 15-minute clip of an historic video. http://americanpatrol.com/WMV/091121-WTHM2.wmv You will be amazed at what you see and hear. The SEIU and Saul Alinsky are prominent in this segment. Tomorrow I will expose the Los Angeles Times as a criminal organization. See the St. Paul ‘happy-slapping’ video that has police and citizens outraged
See the St. Paul ‘happy-slapping’ video that has police and citizens outraged The arrests and investigation followed the Monday posting of a YouTube video featuring eight Black males terrorizing bicyclists and pedestrians -- including children and older people -- in what appeared to be Minneapolis and St. Paul. St. Paul police have arrested an adult and a juvenile in connection with a series of random attacks in Minneapolis and St. Paul, which were recorded on video and posted on YouTube. http://link.brightcove.com/services/player/bcpid1870915446?bctid=50895183001 The adult from Oakdale, whose age was not released, was booked into the Ramsey County Jail, while a 17-year-old with no listed hometown, was taken to a juvenile detention center. Both were booked Tuesday on suspicion of strong-arm robbery and aggravated assault, according to St. Paul police reports. Charges do not appear to have been filed. Several other suspects have been identified but have not yet been arrested, police said. A police report showed that at least one person came forward after he was tackled behind by an unknown male at 6 p.m. Nov. 14 while walking eastbound on Grand Avenue near Avon Street in St. Paul. “Assault was probably posted on YouTube”, the report said. http://www.nationalpolicyinstitute.org/2009/11/18/two-arrests-made-in-youtube-assault-video/

Politics as Tribe
Politics as Tribe Severely partisan-minded people do not, as a rule, engage in rational policy discussion. Instead, they immediately start calling names in an effort to choke off any discussion before it can really get started. What this shows is politics at its most tribal. It isn't about issues - it's about identity. [...] This is not new, of course, as politicians have been playing their electoral bases for suckers since at least the Roman Republic. But, despite all that, loyal Democrats are stepping up to defend their guy just as viciously as loyal Republicans went to bat for W. It is almost as if they are unable to recognize that they are backing policies which are exactly opposite of what their guy promised in order to get elected. What gives with that, anyway? I’ve pondered that question for years, but finally got some inkling of an answer from a study done during the 2004 presidential election cycle. Researchers at Emory University did a study on both Democrats and Republicans to determine how hyper-partisan individuals processed information. Researchers asked staunch party members from both sides to evaluate information that threatened their preferred candidate prior to the 2004 Presidential election. The subjects’ brains were monitored while they pondered. What did the researchers find? Essentially, partisan Democrats and Republicans are completely unable to see contradictions on their own side of the fence. The tests involved pairs of statements by the candidates, President George W. Bush and Senator John Kerry, that clearly contradicted each other. The test subjects were asked to consider and rate the discrepancy. Then they were presented with another statement that might explain away the contradiction. The scenario was repeated several times for each candidate. The brain imaging revealed a consistent pattern. Both Republicans and Democrats consistently denied obvious contradictions for their own candidate but detected contradictions in the opposing candidate. Overall, here were the results: * Partisan beliefs are calcified, meaning partisan people can learn very little from new data * Partisans spin data in their minds until they get the conclusions they want, and then they get massively reinforced for it, with the elimination of negative emotional states and activation of positive ones. They literally feel a rush from ignoring facts which contradict their desired outcomes. Partisan politics isn’t about facts or issues or policies. It’s about identity. In other words, it isn’t about what a member of my tribe says or does, what matters is that they are part of my tribe. So if a Democrat sells out totally on issue after issue, the Democrats simply ignore that fact and keep on vilifying the opposition. The Republicans do the same thing. In fact, partisan minds even reinforce this process by giving their owners a rush from ignoring contradictory data. There is no logic to this. Which is why rational policy debate is out the window. How can you have a rational debate when you are totally blind to the contradictory nature of the policies emanating from your own side, and are incapable of learning from new data? In fact, how can you even begin to argue rationally if you are incapable of evaluating your own side’s ideas? [...] http://www.nationalpolicyinstitute.org/2009/10/25/politics-as-tribe/

Poll: Mexicans say Mexican-Americans Owe Loyalty to Mexico Over U.S.
Poll: Mexicans say Mexican-Americans Owe Loyalty to Mexico Over U.S. Nearly 70 percent of Mexicans surveyed said that Mexican-Americans – including those born in the United States – owe their primary loyalty to Mexico, not the U.S., according to a Zogby poll commissioned by the Center for Immigration Studies. The in-person poll, taken during August and September, sampled 1,004 Mexicans across the country on subjects related to illegal immigration and amnesty in the United States. When asked “Should the primary loyalty of Mexican-Americans be to Mexico or to the U.S.?” 68.8 percent of respondents in Mexico said that it should be to Mexico, while only 19.7 percent said it should be to the United States. Another 11.5 percent of respondents said they were not sure. Steven Camarota, director of research at the CIS, told CNSNews.com that the Spanish phrase translated as “Mexican-Americans” (“los estadounidenses de origen mexicano”) was carefully selected to ensure that respondents knew that it included those born in the U.S. He particularly stressed the Spanish word ‘estadounidenses.’ “It means ‘United States-ian’ — (that’s) how it translates,” he said, “and it’s understood by everyone in Mexico to include, clearly, people born in the United States of Mexican ancestry.” Camarota also told CNSNews.com that just over one-third of respondents (36 percent) said that they would come to the U.S., if they could. Of that group, 68 percent said they think that Mexican-Americans owe loyalty to Mexico over the United States.

California Nightmaring, With Mass Immigration A Key Demon
California Nightmaring, With Mass Immigration A Key Demon California is a textbook case of stupid and irresponsible governance, largely because failed political ideologies are still popular in the halls of the state legislature. Economist Milton Friedman famously observed, "You cannot simultaneously have free immigration and a welfare state". California has surely demonstrated the folly of trying to do exactly that. By Brenda Walker The Golden State has been drowning in a maelstrom of self-created misery. A budget crisis of monumental proportions is exacerbated by one of the country’s worst unemployment rates, 12.2 percent in August. But what’s really disturbing is the refusal of Sacramento to make the fundamental changes needed to return the state to a balanced budget and economic sanity. The state is victim to a perfect storm of idiot ideologies, from Open Borders creating a Mexifornian population explosion, to nutty environmentalism. California is a scary reverse universe, where the legislature is purposefully creating job loss and economic ruin. The nominally Republican Governor Schwarzenegger has done little good and a lot bad—including his enthusiastic promotion of a unilateral state climate bill. Even if you believe that human-caused climate change is real, it is still crazy for one state to cripple its economy when others nearby do not. For example, Nevada is happy to receive fleeing businesses. It has been successfully pitching itself as the lower-tax, lower-regulation alternative. It is tragic to see Eden headed so resolutely to hell. California has been blessed with spectacular land, abundant natural resources and many brilliant, talented people. It has been the spawning ground of new ideas, both excellent and odious. Thus Silicon Valley changed the world and was started by some nerdy kids in their parents’ garages. Perhaps the laid-back lifestyle made ignoring state politics too easy, but the Jarvis-Gann tax revolt of the 1970s and passage of Prop 187 in 1994 (which would have prevented illegal aliens using taxpayer-funded services) showed many citizens wanted the state redirected. Nevertheless, the bad ideas have predominated in recent years. The Tax Foundation rates California as #48 in the nation for business climate. Forbes recently rated it as the 12th worst state for business, a slight improvement from 2008: “California has the country’s largest gross state product, at $1.55 trillion, far ahead of No. 2 New York’s $965 billion, but the Golden State is dead last in business costs and ranks 10th in growth prospects, 22nd in labor, 26th in quality of life, 27th in economic climate and 39th in regulatory environment.” [Forbes: California improves to 12th worst for business, San Francisco Business Journal, September 24, 2009] http://www.nationalpolicyinstitute.org/2009/10/02/california-nightmaring-with-mass-immigration-a-key-demon/

Who Killed California?
Who Killed California? We will learn over the next decade whether California can manage to avoid disaster one more time. But even if the state's years of living large finally catch up with it, there is still an escape hatch: Sensible Californians can continue to flee to places like Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, Oregon, and Texas, where the respite from hostile government more than compensates for the social opprobrium that tends to meet California expatriates. The story of California has always been a great American tale of triumph over long odds. Since its entry into the Union, in the aftermath of war and the midst of gold fever, the state has seemed an improbable colossus. But again and again, California has made its way through hours of challenge – not only surviving intact, but emerging as a model for the rest of the nation. In the 19th century, despite immense geographic, ethnic, political, and social differences, Californians managed to form a cohesive identity, resisting numerous efforts to divide the state. They overcame the “curse of natural resources” that so long afflicted other commodity-rich states (and still afflicts some, like Alaska), laying the groundwork for a thriving and diverse economy that now dwarfs those of many developed countries. In the 20th century, through one of the greatest feats of engineering in human history, they turned the semi-arid desolation of southern California into a booming megalopolis and home to the second-largest metropolitan area in America. California ranked 20th among the states in population in 1900, but by 1963 it was first, where it has remained. And through a series of social, political, and economic experiments, California has acted as America’s foremost laboratory of innovation, trying out ideas the country as a whole would go on to adopt. In the 1960s under Governor Pat Brown, the state offered a model of modernization, building the most advanced education and transportation infrastructures in the nation. Under Brown’s successor, Ronald Reagan, it offered a model of conservative governance that would go on to transform American politics. Hollywood has made California a crucial part of America’s cultural identity, and Silicon Valley has put it at the heart of our vision of the future. For many decades now, Americans have seen California as a harbinger of promising things to come. Today, however, California has become a warning sign. Beset by economic disaster and political paralysis, the state is in the midst of a systemic crisis. And while the meltdown has certainly been accelerated by the recession of the past two years, its causes involve two decades of poor judgment, reckless mismanagement, and irresponsibility. How California got into this mess has a lot to teach the rest of the country; how it gets out will say a great deal about America’s prospects. http://www.nationalpolicyinstitute.org/2009/09/27/who-killed-california/

Why Are 15 Million Americans Unemployed When 8.3 Million Illegals Have Jobs? Immigration Moratorium
Why Are 15 Million Americans Unemployed When 8.3 Million Illegals Have Jobs? Immigration Moratorium Now! One of the President's campaign promises, made often in the Midwestern Rustbelt, was to renegotiate NAFTA. It was a popular policy among hard-hit workers who understand how globalized trade has directly harmed them, since NAFTA sent thousands of jobs to Mexico and turned a moderate trade surplus into a loss. Senator Sherrod Brown estimated that NAFTA caused the loss of 200,000 manufacturing jobs in Ohio alone. President Obama still plans an amnesty in the near, though unspecific, future, according to threats continuing to burble out of the White House. That’s despite record unemployment and widespread misery throughout the land. Obama’s Treason Lobby supporters nag him constantly that he promised to reward illegal alien lawbreakers. So there’s no danger he will be allowed to forget. We have become so desensitized to Washington’s daily cruelty to average Americans that the systematic displacement of citizens in the workplace is accepted as the norm. Plus, not only is the White House guaranteeing to reward millions of aliens for violating U.S. sovereignty, but legal immigration on auto-pilot continues to dump 125,000 new workers per month into America’s already flooded labor market. In boom times, captains of industry demanded additional foreign workers and got them. But now, when 15 million Americans are jobless, there is no corresponding reduction. Why is that? Is there no OFF switch anywhere in Washington? An immigration moratorium, a time-out , would be sensible public policy and would relieve a lot of pain among citizens. But there is no such legislation in Congress. Has America drifted into an alternative universe where evil rules? Perhaps traditional citizens have been a little late in finding their voice in townhalls and tea parties. Interestingly, President Obama understands something of the principle of supply and demand regarding employment—as he demonstrated in his CNN interview broadcast September 20: “I think we’ll be adding jobs, but you need 150,000 additional jobs each month just to keep pace with a growing population,” the president said. “So if we’re only adding 50,000 jobs, that’s a great reversal from losing 700,000 jobs [a month] early this year—but, you know, it means that we’ve still got a ways to go.” [Obama: Economy probably won't produce enough jobs until 2010] Among Americans, the economy is the top concern. An August Gallup poll found that 31 percent of workers personally feared losing their job, a new high and double the rate of a year ago. A Harris Poll taken in early September noted that 60 percent of Americans polled gave the President a negative rating on handling the economy. Yet Washington and the elite media are stuck on healthcare. It’s certainly important and needs fixing. But unemployment is worsening (now at 9.7 percent nationally), and badly so in many regions and job sectors. In August, 42 states lost jobs (an increase of 29 states from July) with a nationwide total of 216,000 persons laid off. http://www.nationalpolicyinstitute.org/2009/09/26/why-are-15-million-americans-unemployed-when-83-million-illegals-have-jobs-immigration-moratorium-now/

The Left Is Right — Taxes Are a Moral Issue
The Left Is Right — Taxes Are a Moral Issue It is too bad that libertarians and conservatives rarely take on the left on moral grounds because the left's moral foundations are as weak as their economic foundations. One principle that all those on the left hold is that taxes constitute more than an economic issue; they are, first and foremost, a moral one. Economists on the left may argue for higher taxes on economic grounds but they and we know that at bottom, higher taxes, especially “taxing the rich,” is what they believe morality demands. For example, there are obviously only two possible ways to reduce government deficits: reduce spending or increase taxes (or some combination of both). The left advocates the later; the right advocates the former. Left-wing spokesmen, such as New York Times economics columnist and Princeton University professor of economics Paul Krugman, may offer economic arguments for raising taxes in order to lower government deficits, but their real motivations are moral: reducing economic inequality (by redistributing income) and expanding government (because government is the most effective way to help all citizens). Now, as it happens, not only is there is nothing wrong with being animated by moral concerns — we should all be. The problem with the left’s advocacy of higher taxes is not that it is rooted in moral concerns. The problem — actually the two problems — are these: First, higher taxes are rarely morally defensible. In fact, on purely moral grounds — in other words, even if they did effectively reduce the deficit without paying an economic price for doing so — they are usually not moral. More on this below. Second, higher taxes are usually economically counterproductive. This does not matter to the left, however, because economic growth is not what most interests the left. Since Karl Marx, the left has always been far more interested in economic equality than in economic growth. It is true that liberals such as John F. Kennedy were more concerned with economic growth than with economic equality — which is why he advocated lowering taxes — but for much of the last century, unlike today, there was a major difference between liberal and left. Now to return to the moral arguments, my difference with the left is not that I oppose morality dictating economic policy. I believe, in fact, that virtually all social policies should be rooted in moral concerns. My difference with the left is that I am convinced that moral considerations dictate lower, not higher, taxes. http://www.nationalpolicyinstitute.org/2009/09/24/the-left-is-right-taxes-are-a-moral-issue/

Boycott the Glenn Beck Boycott!
Boycott the Glenn Beck Boycott! If this were Canada or Europe, crushing a right-winger would be a snap: all you have to do is haul him before a “human rights tribunal” (packed, of course, with ultra-leftist judges), accuse him of “racial hatred,” and off to jail he goes. Boycott the Glenn Beck Boycott! With the Obama administration leading the charge, multicultural elites are joining forces to silence conservative Fox News commentator Glenn Beck. It’s time for Americans of all political persuasions to fight back against this blatant attack on the Constitutional principle of free speech.
