  1. I got to meet the band too at the Best Buy sound check party. It was not all I hoped it would be (no autographs, no personal photos), but it was still AMAZING!!! The guys are very humble and nice. I got to have my picture standing shoulder to shoulder with Jonny! How often do you get to meet the biggest band in the world? To top it off, the show was mind-blowing; they played every song I wanted to hear. It was my first (but definitely not my last) Coldplay show. All around, one of the best days of my life. BTW, hoping for a high quality audio recording to be posted somewhere.
  2. I've always wondered what musicians/bands/artists listen to when they listen to their mp3 player or whatever? We sometimes hear what bands have inspired them, but does that mean they listen to them frequently? So here are my questions, who/what do you think Coldplay listens to (as individuals or as a whole)? Do they ever listen to themselves (other than for recording/quality purposes)? If so, is that arrogant or just music appreciation? Do other bands listen to themselves? I'm curious to see everyone's thoughts.
  3. I have decided to keep the 112 seats, so my Floor seats in section 13 (very close to the center aisle) are still for sale if anyone is interested.
  4. Sorry to hear that. I guess I am lucky then. My name is Ryan and thanks all for the welcomes.
  5. Why's that?
  6. This week it is my favorite track! Last week - Lost. So who knows next week. Thsi album is absolutely amazing! I saw somewhere else that Chris said something like the following: "If you only hear one song in your life, make sure it's this one." He was referring to a track on Viva la Vida. Anyone know which one he was talking about?
  7. Hey there fellow Coldplay fans. I must admit I'm only recently (last 12 months) a Coldplay junkie, but I'm all in now. My wife thinks I'm totally insane, but what does she know. :) Anyway, I'm going to my first Coldplay concert in November in Dallas, and I couldn't be more excited. I hope to get to know some of you. Just wanted to say Howdy (we actually don't say that much in Dallas except if you're a Texas Aggie, which I am). Cheers.
  8. I'm not a scalper either, but love Coldplay. I've only recently (last 12 months) gotten obsessed with them (the first time I heard Fix You is what got me). Anyway, I will be going to this show and have two sets of tickets. I bought some for my friends, but now they can't make it. I haven't decided which ones I want to sell yet. Here's what I got (only one of the sets is for sale): 2 Floor seats section 13 2 section 112 centerstage seats If anyone is interested, PM me.
