  2. I've only gotten into Coldplay fairly recently, and it was 'cause my friend and my brother both seriously loved Viva La Vida (the song). So I downloaded it, listened to it, was like, "Alright, this song is cool." I ended up downloading a leak of the whole album before it came out (I think?) without even knowing it, because I thought I was downloading a leak of the song they did with Kylie Minogue. Later on, I saw the video for Violet Hill on MTV or VH1, one of those, and just fell in love with it. I had this attraction to Chris at first, and would watch the video over and over again, being all like, "Omg, ily." XD And there's this personal level of love too, where in mid-July, I had a few personal problems, and I would sit alone at night and just write messages to myself. I'd always end up crying. In order to stop myself from crying, I would turn on Coldplay, and Chris' voice would just soothe and calm me down. Later in July, I downloaded TONS of their songs because I had this thing where I was supposed to leave the internet for about a week, so I wanted to have lots of Coldplay to listen to. I realized what the hell I've missed these past few years, with all the beautiful music and lyrics and the amazing people who were apart of it all. I just ended up falling in love with the band. And since then, I've been a fan. :D
  3. ...I need to get me one of those tour programs. Now. :dead: Thanks for sharing! :D
  4. Gah, double post.
  5. I think AROBTTH contains the most out of all of them, in my opinion. It deals with a lot of love and happiness with songs like The Scientist and Green Eyes, and the flipside with songs like Amsterdam and AROBTTH, like Loki mentioned. It covers a wide range of emotions that I can relate to a lot of the time. Parachutes and X&Y do come close to the sort of emotion I get from AROBTTH, and some of them do have their strong emotional points, but I don't get it all through the album like I do with A Rush Of Blood. And Viva La Vida tells a sort of story, in my eyes (which I'm contemplating writing, actually).
  6. :stunned: It's so good! That's really impressive. And I like the latino version of it as well. :D
  7. 4:26 PM and about to go make some ramen for dinner. And trying to think of ways to gain more posts without being such a noob.

  13. *hope she is not stepped on for being new* Anyway, hello! My name's Audrey, I'm 15, and I hail from the middle of the Pacific Ocean. (meaning: I'm from Hawaii.) I'm a fairly new Coldplay fan, I fell in love only about a month ago and had disputes with myself for over a week about it being a bad thing or not. But after finding out some of my own friends love Coldplay, and converting a few others, I've come to realize it's not, and embrace it. :D I've been lurking here for too long and finally forced myself to join. Happy to be here and I hope to meet lots of new people!
