there is plenty to do. at hollywood and highland there is a big mall. and ripleys believe it or not museum. it's hollywood so there is always something to do :D:sneaky:

well i meant that they took my original tickets. and gave me row 2. so the volunteers get the far away tickets. occasionally i've heard of them giving volunteers close tickets but not often. and yes you have to fill out a form with oxfam. i'm not sure if you can volunteer for anything besides oxfam. http://www.oxfamamerica.org/whatyoucando/take-action/music-outreach/concert-application

no! i mean row two in the pool! i was pool D. they told me they give the tickets they take to the volunteers. so i'll probably get one of those tickets on friday when i volunteer :lol:

OMGOMG. i was in sec S and got a seat upgrade. i was basically 6 rows from almost being last row. but a Coldplay roadie saw me in my Viva jacket and gave me and my mom tickets to ROW 2. so i went from being almost to the back to being in the front! the show was just AMAZING. even more than last night and i'm not just saying that because of the upgrade! the boys seemed to have more energy! it was so great to hear Speed of Sound! i really liked it this time around. during the Viva tour i got the opportunity to hear them play it live, but this acoustic version was better! anyways toward the end i made sure i stayed trying to get a pick (Jonny gave like 3-4 girls one), but i at least got a setlist!!! on a side note i met Janice Dickinson walking on the way out of the venue. and Pau Gasol was like 15 rows behind me! overall a night i will never forget!

that is so true. i'm leaving in about 30 mins. about an hour and 30 mins earlier than yesterday. i don't think it will be as bad! hope we meet up today!

no one is posting in this thread! aren't coldplayers going to this show!! can't wait for tonight even though my seat are almost in the last section. it will be great to see the xylobands and the fireworks from the distance!

coldplay will come on at 9 oclock without a doubt... simple cameras should be fine. i'm thinking about trying to sneak in my dslr.

the show was amazing! i was totally surprised when they played Lovers in Japan! the confetti was amazing as well. i didn't expect for any of it to be around me but we were seated just below one of the canons! didn't expect the fireworks either! those just made the whole show even better. overall a good show. exactly what i expect from the boys. only complaint is that i wish they played longer, at least 2 hours.

yes you should be able to.. if by digital you actually mean a digital camera and not a dslr or slr. basically anything with a detachable lens is a no go. and anything without a detachable lens is a go.

what is the xstage you all speak of.. i can't really tell but maybe i'm just not looking well enough at the picture.

k, i have an extra copy. i haven't followed this thread so idk what rules you guys have...

i think i'll have an extra copy of this but i'm not sure. i bought one off ebay, but then i checked my bank account and i was charged about 21 dollars from strictly discs. if i remember correctly i only requested 2 things. the coldplay vinyl and something else so the price seem accurate for two things.

hm well next week should be the first time i volunteer. but i have many coldplayer friends that have volunteered and it's a great fun! from what i hear! as for the ticket it shouldn't matter! one because you are there to primarily volunteer and getting a free ticket to a coldplay concert is amazing in itself. so, two it shouldn't matter where you are seated.

wow. hard to believe it's been 3 years now??? if i counted right. i don't even think lauren, liz, and marisa come on here all that often. then again maybe they come here everyday but just don't post as much as they use too, which is what i do.. miss all of you :)

oh ok. i heard someone mention this. i think i parked there for the jimmy kimmel concert. or is that totally far away? you should text me more info/explain it to me! cuz i'm still super confused....

um well i'm not trying to brag or anything but i met the oxfam roadie during the VLV tour and she asked me if i wanted to volunteer this time around. of course i said yes. so i got an email from oxfam.

not sure where! and yes all 3 nights! i'm volunteering with oxfam on the 3rd night. i'm super excited to volunteer!!!!
