Hello from CT!!
Hey Everyone!!! My name is Danielle and I'm from CT! I have been a Coldplay fan since hearing "Clocks" on the radio in 2003. It has been love ever since. :D I have seen Coldplay a total of three times: Twisted Logic Tour: August 4, 2005 in Hartford Viva la Vida Tour: August 2, 2008 at the XL Center in Hartford At this concert I was soo incredibly lucky to sit in the front row with my best friend. I was already going to the concert and won a contest on a local radio station a few days before the concert. I can honestly say that it was the best night of my entire life and a dream come true! Absolute unreal. I never thought it would happen to me but it did!! Hopefully I'll post my pictures soon! Viva la Vida Tour: October 27, 2008 at the Izod Center in New Jersey I am so thankful for getting to see them in concert and will definitely be a fan forever! Their music has made such a difference in my life and I cannot say thank you enough. I'm looking forward to speaking with other Coldplay fans as well!!

27-Oct-08: East Rutherford, NJ (2nd night)- Tickets, Previews, Meetups, Review/Photos
Yeah the girls sitting next to us (before we moved) sat and talked the entire time. Granted, the music was loud but we could still hear their conversations. Another couple sitting in front of me was texting the entire time! I didn't encounter any drunk people though at this show. When I was in the front row in Hartford my friend got some unwanted dance requests from the drunk people next to us but they kept getting up and leaving and coming back throughout the show so we didn't have to deal with it the whole time. I found it hard to take pictures because of wanting to dance and sing along and just enjoy the show without worrying about having my camera ready the whole time. So most of my videos are pretty shaky and some of my pics are blurry :( But, between me and my friends I think we got some decent ones.

My boyfriend and I went to the show last night and had a wonderful time!! Coldplay was awesome as always, but the only problem I had while at the show was that no one in my section danced or stood up!! We sat in section 230 on the end of row ten and people in back of me (older individuals, not trying to offend just describing) were complaining that I would stand during certain songs! Since there were no tickets sold to the right of us, my boyfriend and I moved over to that section so we could stand and dance!! After sitting front row at Hartford and having a blast, I couldn't just sit in my seat at the concert. I wasn't going to let the people sitting ruin my fun :D I noticed pretty much every other section had everyone standing, jumping, dancing, and having a great time while my section pretty much just sat there. Did anyone else have a similar section where nobody stood up/danced?

02-Aug-08: Hartford - Tickets, Preview, Meetups, Review/Photos [originally 03-Jul]
Sorry if I am repeating what others have said, because I have not read every reply on this topic :) I was at the Hartford concert and was lucky enough to sit in the front row. Dead center with my best friend. We won tickets from a local radio station and when the Capitol Records label representative gave them to us, she mentioned that Chris had a sore throat. For those disappointed with the lack of encore and "short" set list at Hartford, please keep in mind that Chris wasn't feeling well and still delivered a kick-ass show. I don't understand why people were so upset-Coldplay was awesome and I enjoyed every minute of it. It was an hour and a half of nothing but pure energy from the band and although I'm sure we all wished they could have performed all night, they performed a spectacular show in an hour and a half. Seriously, the best night of my life. I saw them again in East Rutherford yesterday and they did perform an encore and the show was a bit longer, but I am still not disappointed at all with the Hartford performance. I would relive it in a moment if I could!!!
