  1. The very last pic on the live blog brought tears to my eyes...the final huddle.
  2. I just wanted to let you all know....that i am so so jealous of you all getting to attend the last concert of the Viva la Vida tour. I am pretty sure I could cry. I feel lucky to have seen them twice this time around but to be able to see them in their home of London on the last day would just be the ultimate. Ahhhhhhhhhhhh....i am sad.
  3. At 2:08 in the Death Will Never Conquer video when Chris drinks that water bottle and then tosses it on the ground.....THAT IS NOW MINE!!!!!! It was just out of my reach because just after the guys went back down to the main stage, alot of people shifted and I was pressed right up to the gate by the C stage (I was about 3 feet back during the performance) and I asked a security guard if I could have it and he said no  and then gave me some crap about how I was pretty......ANYWAY I asked a second guy and he gave it to MEE!!!!! I have some good pics from the C-stage....I will see if I can post them.
  4. I am relying on a non-fan to drive me there, so I don't know how early I will be able to make it :\ BUT I AM SO EXCITED!! I just hope that I have good position in the lawn............and pray for them to play right next to me.
  5. This sucks........ I would have made a bigger effort yesterday at presale if I had know that would be my only chance for anything but lawn....I didn't think they would release them all though. Well I am glad to have tickets though...lawn or not! But I wish I had known..
  6. Bloc Party The Avett Brothers The Flaming Lips Coldplay
  7. Well it was a pretty good concert...certainly entertaining as the flaming lips always are. They did a Prince cover of Purple Rain..
  8. The Flaming Lips- Gave Coldplay a Mention Hey all! Just thought it might interest some other avid coldplayers that Wayne of the Flaming Lips gave Coldplay a mention last night at their New Years Eve concert in OKC. He was talking about how Flaming Lips fans in Oklahoma (which is where the band hails from if you didn't know) and just in general are so fantastic because of the loving, good-spirited, family kind of feel that they create. He was saying all this and then he said how Coldplay had been in OKC a month or so before and the feeling was the same....it was hard to hear him clearly but I think he said that he was actually at the concert, which is exciting as that was when Coldplay did their Flaming Lips cover of Waiting for Superman. At mention of Coldplay, I of course screamed louder than I had all night hah...
  9. With all the excitement of this tour, which the band themselves have said has been the time of their lives, and obviously the continuing and growth of their fan base, AND how Chris has been recording and writing while on tour, I cannot imagine that this is actually going to happen. I freaked out when Chris announced a couple years ago at I believe the British Music Awards that Coldplay wouldn't be back for a while and yet I saw them myself two nights ago!! So let us all hope and pray that Chris is just being a bit overly dramatic and feeling a false sense of inferiority to some other bands (GET OVER IT MAN, COLDPLAY IS BOMB) or that the journalist misunderstood him. I would seriously go into a depression if that is true. I would sob.
  10. Wow Trevor 41, how did you snag those tickets? How much? Man this Karen story is AMAZING! Truly shows how caring and compassionate all these coldplayers are!! Cannot wait to hear you review (and by the way, even though I was considerably disappointed that they didn't play Green Eyes, I also LOVE the Hardest Part so thanks to Karen!!)
  11. ccsg you are not alone! I also am wondering Karen's connection to Coldplay...and is she the mother of Kels? Aha I feel like I have tuned into a television program midseason and have no idea who the characters are haha.. Whatever the case, I am totally envious in the best possible way of Karen! How on earth did she get that to happen?
  12. TONIGHT IS THE NIGHT! Oh how I have waited for this day since the 5th grade. Funny story: My mother got a phonecall the other day while I was sitting in the living room. I heard her say something like "well we got 4 tickets" and " that would have been a long drive for nothing" so of course she was talking about the concert. I was freaked and my eyes glossed over (or so my sister tells me) and then my mom storms out of the living room and then back in a couple minutes later and tells me the concert has been canceled because there has been an "accident". I immediately burst into tears. It was terrible.
  13. I am going! And I am unbelievably excited as well...I have never seen them before but this show has been a long time coming for me. I am kind of disappointed by the lack of OKC coldplayers though :( MAN IT IS 10 DAYS AWAY!!!
