  2. lolz. i feel the same. i have to atleast listen to 6 or 7 of their songs a day to make sure i sustain my fan-girl status. i feel as if i'll let them down if if dont listen to anything. haha. HERES A ROUGH DRAFT and only 1 part of my "What Coldplay Has Done to Me" story essay thingy. I'm still working on it. This is what i have so far. Because of Coldplay, I smile when I’m stuck in rush hour traffic, I relax when the world is stressed, I laugh when things go wrong. Because of Coldplay, I change how I see things. I see the beauty in everyday life. Because of Coldplay, every time I see a butterfly, I picture thousands of people standing under an almost never ending rain of confetti butterflies……with their voices all joined together as the best background vocals you’ll ever hear. Because of Coldplay, I make an excuse to drive the long route, just so I can hear more amazing music. Because of Coldplay, I see that Life is for Living, we really do live in a beautiful world………. Because of Coldplay, I live, think, and dream in Technicolor. My feet were once firmly on the ground, but now….my feet won’t touch the ground. Because of Coldplay, I think twice before unbuckling……life is precious; we can’t just go back to the start. It's still in progress. I want something absolutely amazing to send to the boys....so i take pride in making it the best i can lol :)
  3. i'm sorry about your friend. :( the scientist must mean alot to you. i was walking into chili's restaurant a few months ago and GPASUYF started playing. i got into a rental car one time and it had satellite radio and Green Eyes started playing......which is great....because I have green eyes. :) Michael Jackson songs follow me too. Lolz. usually Billie Jean and Bad. haha

  5. bahahha.....couldnt agree more. BLAH.....miley and her whole family annnooooysss the crap outta me. Why the heck would Miley want a 16 yr old version of Chris? Thats no fun  Better with age my dear.....maybe she can be a cougar and have Moses a lil later on in life....he's a cutie. ;) :laugh4:
  6. I just had to tell you all this. Ever since the Tampa concert got cancelled (which i had tix for), Coldplay songs have been following me everywhere It all started when i walked into work one day and VLV came on the radio like 30 seconds after i got there. Then i left to get lunch and walked into the restuarant and Violet Hill was on the radio. I got home that night and satellite tv music was on @ our house and The Scientist was playing. *doo doo doo doo* (twilight zone music) Then i guess it was several days later when i finally realized it was following me LOL and my friend pointed it out. We were at a store and i was paying.....and as i approached the cashier, Strawberry Swing came on. I glanced at my friend and she started laughing. I went to my aunt and uncles house and Strawberry Swing (again) came on their satellite tv radio. A few days ago i was driving to work and of course listening to coldplay, and when i got there i walked in and (not joking) as i walked in VLV came on the radio and i just started laughing and walked back outside and then back inside again to make sure. LOL Lets see...it's also happened in my friends car....i get in her car and Coldplay comes on the radio. Its just so funny to me bcuz it's not like the song was already playing and THEN i walked in.....no no....the song always starts playing AS i am walking in or right after i walk in somewhere. My mom thinks its hilarious. she says " I always know when Meg is in the room because Coldplay comes on the radio!" hahaha So....i've decided to start documenting it. It's probably happened 10 or 11 times so far. It's great!! It really makes my day.....it's like the boys are with me everywhere i go making sure i'm happy. :D okay i'm done....i just HAD to share!!!!!
  7. thanks!!! this is what i was looking for. but my wireless on my laptop was being real slow last night so i gave up. i am going to post my lovely dedication to my muse (coldplay of course) hopefully in the next day or so. i love to write so i take great care in what i do...especially if i know that theres like a 0.129987% chance the boys may actually see it. maybe.....maybe not. a girl can dream...................
  8. i know i've seen a fanmail address in the forum before. i shall look and see when i'm not so tired, bout to go to sleep. I'm so glad everyones agreed with this thread!! I just worked a lil more on my "What Coldplay has done to me" essay. I'm calling it an essay because i cant think of the right word :) And i didnt really see any threads that were like this, so heres an original :) til tomorrow..... nightums! (hmmm....after looking @ Coldplay.com....maybe it is [email protected]) is there anyway to confirm this??
  9. Hey every1 I've decided that i am going to write a lil something to send via fanmail email to the boys! But i wanted to post it here too for you guys to read. I'm calling it "What Coldplay has Done to me" and it's all about the inspirations and feelings i have because of Coldplay. So......i'm working on it little by little and will post it here soon! In fact i think this would be a good thread.....where we can all come and say things we're grateful to Coldplay for, or things we do and feelings and inspirations we have because of them and their music. Good idea?? Will anyone else join me? Meg
  10. my dad came and knocked on my bedroom door right after i had gotten to sleep and startled me (out of a good Chrissy dream) to tell me this breaking news!! i couldnt get back to sleep for a while....i was sad.... I mean, i've been to a concert before, but i was totally looking forward to this one being outdoors and i had good seats and it was a gift from my dad and now it's cancelled and i'm sadddd. Does anybody know if they'll be touring sometime in the spring in North America????
  11. gosh..they shouldn't be complaining like that. Think about all of us fans who got the tampa concert cancelled on us (i'm still geting over it) ;) we didn't even get a concert.....at least they did, sound probs or not. it's ridiculous for them to complain. urgh....
  12. haha....this is my day job. i' a hair stylist. i deal with beards sometimes too. wish it was his rawr
  13. anyone have guitar chords for the scentist. i'm learning guitar. use my dads acoustic. and i have small hands. can someone give me chords for the song that will be easy for me to play??? i'm trying my hardest to learn it from the book, but can't stretch my hands. thanks!!!!
  14. it is a comforting song. with great meaning. there's hidden meaning in alot of Coldplay songs if you think about it.
  15. okay so am i the only one here who actually thinks this song has a meaning? "Those who are dead are not dead they're just living in my head." - pretty self explanatory. "And since i fell for that spell i am living there as well" To me this means that the spell he's under is that the dead arent dead but they're still living on in his head. Thats the spell he's under. But because he was stupid enough to fall for the "spell" he, too, is living in his head. A dream world. does anyone understand my interpretation? i love this song tho. :)
