There are not any "cool" bars. Mostly the sports bar types. One meet up spot my be @ Gators, not great food, but they may have their shuttle running for the show. It's in the West End area. Or the West End Pub.

At Dave Matthews, the problem was the puddles. I imagine that again will be the problem. Big mud puddles. I would wear sandals. And bring another set of clothes and leave in the car afterwards to change. The traffic will be bad getting out and no since in sittting in wet clothes.

Amsterdam Bar A good place to stop by before the show: http://www.amsterdambar.blogspot.com/ Went here before Dave Matthews show last saturday. Superpages was a mess, with all the rain. Made for an awesome show. Short but sweet. Shouldnt be any rain in July. However it will be hot. The fans will be on, so lighting up will be hard. And everyone will be sweaty. Good time to have lawn seats.

Got seats I wanted Got an aisle seat in sect. 202, row FF. Get to see over top of people below and not next to speaker, so should be great sound. A good place to go before hand is the Amsterdam Bar. It's near Fair Park.
