well like i was saying in one of my other posts, this method would make the most sense to me, as it is the most common setup for most arena shows. i don't mind the idea of a bigger GA section, that is my own preference...but it does seem pretty disappointing & frustrating for those who were expecting a designated seat. i can't believe also that if this is the case (if they've changed it to an entire GA floor) that they could just change the setup last-minute like that, after initially posting the seating chart as previously stated (GA in front, floor seats behind). also, the stuff about the history of trampling and changing the laws due to death risk is an issue too. either way i just wish they would confirm the details so that everyone who actually HAS tickets now can know forsure exactly what tickets they have, where they are sitting/standing, and generally what to expect when the show arrives.

yeah i think you are right. that would be cool if it ended up that way because that ottawa show at the corel centre was one of the best nights of my life! i ended up 1st row :D i like the sounds of this because i've always preferred general admission and do love the atmosphere of everyone being together in a "pit" so to speak. if this is how coldplay is starting to do things across the board, fine by me! i know the pushing can sometimes be frustrating but it is coldplay and everyone is always pretty decent in terms of space, etc. tactic is the way to go! as long as the true fans can get as close as possible, i am happy :) thanks ladies!

wow - that is amazing no doubt did that! i wish coldplay would catch on as well. i am so impressed! incredible. more events/bands really should cater to their fans like that...where would they be without us?? i agree about the confusion on details for this shows - it is ridiculous, frankly. specifically, what kinds of tickets are you looking for? 'cos i may have extra to sell...

amen to that! but what is this about the floor being potentially ALL general admission? that is nuts! i am sure it is seats leading up to the GA area...how can it be otherwise? seems unrealistic to me. if it is all GA that could also be cool, but unusual...i remember seeing them in 2003 at the corel centre (now scotiabank place) and the whole floor was GA...it definitely was a mad dash, but they only allowed people who were waiting in line to run to the front in small groups. it was actually really organized! but from how this event has gone thus far i wouldn't imagine it ending up very organized at all! who knows...this is weird. regardless i guess all that matters is those of us who wanted GA, got them. though if i was in the seats behind the GA people, i would be frustrated by not being able to see over ppl's heads - so maybe they will make it all GA? hmm. so many mixed messages! i wish they would just confirm details a little more automatically.

yeah, i am coming with a few friends but i still love the idea of meeting up! i'm going to try to line up as early as possible...we should try to find each other in line! hahaha...the more the merrier :)

i might be able to help you out...gotta follow-up with other friends who i know were using the presale to see how many they got. but i think we may have extras! i am sure you will get one...they will most likely all be GA to choose from. is that ok? i think i noticed above that that's what you were going for. email or pm me, or i will do the same for you. i'll know more by later today/tomorrow.

i like the idea of meeting up with people! we should all wear something distinctive...something that is the same for all of us. i am going with a bunch of friends but i still think it would be cool to meet some of you guys! i am soooo relieved i got GA - it is the only place for me to be!! LOL can't freaking wait :D

oh man my stomach is starting to flip-flop!! globe is there. however i just noticed the globe presale happens tomorrow (Mar 6) at 9:30am...i thought it was today also. guess it makes sense not having them all at the same time. i guess worse comes to worse if the argos one runs out then there are the others to fall back on. it just seems since the argos presale confirmed they have all ticket levels/prices then this one feels like the best bet for getting GA! argh. i'm supposed to meet with my manager soon regarding schedules for next week and i am so focused on this!!!!!!

thanks @ jaszypoo! i would prefer using something like the jack.fm presale but i am off to see a show tonight (hawksley workman for anyone who is a fan!) and will be en route in the car when the presale begins. but that's so generous of you :) looks like the globe presale starts at 10am now too...anyone have the password confirmed for that? someone earlier had said GLOBE or RECOGNITION. can anyone confirm otherwise for the globe presale? thx!
