  1. it was green eyes for me too. but i saw coldplay preform it live and now i like it =) a whisper has kinda grown on me also
  2. for me, i had always loved clocks and speed of sound and known coldplay mostly by those. but then viva la vida came out as a single early last summer and i fell head over heals IN LOVE with it!!! i honestly can remember a conversation i had with my sister in the car when that song was on and we were talking about how much we liked it and wanted the full album too. i litterally could not wait to buy the album, so instead i went online and basically listened to the full thing there (its amazing how youtube can double as a playlist) :D i kept clicking on "related videos" which was of course lead me to more coldplay songs. i think i spent at least an hour listening to a bunch of random songs by them i had never heard before and there wasn't a single one i didn't like. that's when my major fan-ism started. :) so am i a somewhat a recent fan? yes. but am i any less crazy and slightly obsessed as everyone else?? no, i highly doubt that ;)
  3. the concert was SPECTACULAR!!!!! whoever is in charge of the lights is a genius. all effects were incredible. i actually like some songs even better after hearing them live! and i have to say, one of my favorite parts was the bille jean cover!! the whole crowd screaming michael jackson's added shouts... sooo fun!!! it was my first concert and i'm glad it was coldplay. =) simply unforgettable.
  4. quick question!! i've never been to a coldplay cocert (or ANY concert) and tomorrow night will be my first one!! =D my family needs to know: at what time should we get to the venue? i figured the experienced coldplayers here would give me the best answer ;)
  5. thanks Krystyna, kaybee, and bcgem for answering my question!! i think i'll take my camera =)
  6. i completely agree to both. i rarely listen to green eyes, and i don't like jay-z's rap AT ALL
  7. ok, so, my dad thinks that there are absolutely no cameras allowed at coldplay concerts (we've never been to one) is this true? i know its random, but i kinda need to know!! i know the answer seems obvious since there are so many concert pics, but i need re-assurance =)
  8. question: do you have to be 21 to enter or 21 to go at all? too lazy to read the stupid rules...
  9. am i missing something...? i don't understand the "competition" part if you don't really have to do anything to win... oh well!! i'm game! less work for us!! =D
  10. and this is why celebrities rarely give stuff to fans. cuz they never know if the person, such as this one, is gonna be stupid and greedy and sell it -_- way to ruin it
  11. haha well maybe a coldplay crew member will somehow see this thread and mention it to the band or something... *fantasizes*
  12. we all know that phil harvey IS the 5th member of coldplay, so shouldn't he have a puppet like the rest of the guys? it could even be wearing that nifty cream sweater from the litii video!! just a thought ;) he could also have his own sweet military jacket! just cuz he's not on stage doesn't mean he shouldn't be included :D please excuse these random thoughts of mine...
  13. AWESOME!! that's so exciting!! i hope everything works out right!! and have fun!
  14. ewww. that's bad. wow. that's all i can really say
  15. awww man i wish i'd known too!! I recently stressed out my parents pestering them about tickmaster to get tickets for Chula Vista. Now this show comes out and it's much closer to us/more convinient, plus i have a chance to get better seats than the ones i have in San Diego... any advice? should i try for better ones and then sell the chula vista ones? the odds of me convincing my parents to go to both are very slim... or should i just stay with the chula vista tickets...? i don't mean to sound greedy, cuz i'm already happy that i'm gonna see coldplay in the first place (:D) its just that the irvine show would be so much easier...
