  1. Americans are screwed! You can only buy the Ticket + Disc which doesn't have will call as a delivery option! And I don't have a Mexican address! NO!!!! FAIL!
  2. ALL RIGHT! I'M HEADING OVER TO THE WEBSITE! I'll report back with successes or failures.
  3. Your first? Wow, I hope you enjoy it. It's a damn good show. You won't be disappointed.
  4. You can only get General B now... Maybe they saved some for the General sale. Doubt it :(
  5. CRAP! The general A are available today! But not for US residents! GAH! I HATE TICKETMASTER! Well, I'll see what I can get Saturday. For a second there I thought I'd be able to get the tickets with the CD, but that has to be mailed to you... :( Well.... we'll see what we can do on Saturday.
  6. They probably will. Ticketmaster is a meanie like that. If I can get General A or Verde A, I'll still make the trip down to Mexico in March. I think it'd be damn worth it.
  7. This is bull. I'm having to skip one of my classes today to purchase tickets and I don't even know if the general sale is actually today! I'm gonna be so pissed if I skip theatre and when I get to the ticketmaster website at 11 I can't even buy 'em!
  8. ticketmaster.mx In the US, when a concert goes on sale, there's only so many seats that are opened up on that first day. Then there are others that are released as time goes on. There's always a note at the bottom of the pages that says "FYI:More tickets will be released as the date of the event nears." Give you a good example. This past summer, I bought tickets for a show at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavillion on the day they went on sale in like February for a show in July. The tickets I got were good, but they weren't in the first few sections. Tickets for those sections went on sale later on in May and I felt kinda stupid because I had already purchased my other seats. So does ticketmaster.mx do anything like this? And I didn't think about like being in the back of General A, that would also be pretty good.... I would just hope there aren't too many tall people. Another thing: did you guys notice that the Estadio Universitario show listing are up? And they have a general listing, and a numerado listing, kinda gives me hope for a Platino section. Like I'm sorry, I understand you guys want a general thing and whatnot, and I'd be right there with you if my leading lady was willing to line up for 12 hours. Heck, I think it'd be fun, maybe get to meet some of you guys, if you have a DS, play some games(I love Mario Kart), and just hang out with people who love the same band as you. That'd be an event in it of itself. However, lady who has never been to Mexico(and we were discussing this just last night) wouldn't want to spend the day outside of a stadium, she would want to "see" Mexico City and whatnot. So, I don't mind spending 4000 pesos to be 2 to 3 rows away.
  9. Angie you're in Houston, I thought the only option for Americans was will call 48 hours before the show. And I think that means you have to pick them up before the office closes on Wednesday.
  10. What do you mean by "ruco?" And are those Verde A seats any good? Anyone ever been in those sections? It looks like that's what I'll be buying.
  11. Se dieron cuenta que la venta general y la preventa tienen el mismo dia?
  12. Come on, ticketmaster! It's less than a week until the presale and you don't have the listing up yet?!?! ugh!!!
  13. For some reason I have a feeling they'll end up announcing a few more US shows. They'll make up that Tampa one, I can feel it.
  16. Hope they do a Platino I actually kinda hope they do a Platino thing, like the Jonas brothers. Sorry, but Foro Sol is a baseball field so the reserved seats on the side are really freakin' far away, and I don't think my girlfriend would be up for lining up at 9AM to get to the front row of the GA. I wouldn't mind paying 1800 pesos for an actual seat in the front.
  17. http://www.stubhub.com It's like a 2nd party ticket seller. Scalpers buy tickets and then sell them at insane prices. But damn it if the seat is good, I'm willing to pay!
  18. Yeah thanks, I actually saw that I just tried buying AC/DC tickets(not really gonna buy 'em, just wanted to see how the website worked), and it says you just have to pick up your tickets 48 hours prior to the show start date. That's definitely doable. Other question remains unanswered though, is there a Mexican equivalent to stubhub?
  19. US tickets were 97.50 plus fees, I doubt it. However, I asked a question about 4 posts ago, anyone able to answer it?
  20. Jonas Bros. Tickets at same venue The Jonas brothers are gonna be there I think like Halloween or something, and they're charging 1400 pesos which is like 103 US dollars for the "platinum" seating. I would guess that Coldplay would charge more than the Jo Bros, no?
  21. US fans going to Mexico shows? I live in Houston, Tx and saw them when they came here and Dallas, but damn it I love 'em so much I want to go again! Can people in the US buy from the Mexican ticketmaster? And I definitely don't have a Banamex credit card, so I don't think I'll be able to buy from the presale, so in case there are no good tickets left for the general sale, is there like a Mexican equal to Stubhub here in the states?
