2010: Latin America Tour

Last Friday I attended Coldplay's concert at River Plate's stadium on their "Viva La Vida" tour. I expected a depressing concert with basically a band on stage and not much else, like Oasis does. Boy was I wrong! Amazing stage, fireworks, lasers, giant yellow balloons, rain of multicolored paper butterflies, lots of running through the runways by the whole band, etc... The show lasted for 110 minutes and included most of Coldplay hits, the most notorious absence being the songs "Trouble" from "Parachutes" and "Speed of Sound" from "X&Y". I am BESIDE myself with excitement. My husbands's parents will be visiting us in Australia, so they can look after our kids. Looks like a Coldplay MASSIVE roadtrip is in order. We are planning on flying from Australia to South America for the week so we can go to the Rio and Buenos Aires shows (And Santiago if I have my way). SO EXCITED I can hardly speak!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D (Im using most of my Absolute Radio prize money to pay for my flights after I pay the excess on my car insurance from my accident :) )
