  1. ... Coldplay is one of the greatest live bands I've ever seen. I once saw them and was on the second level at the ACC in Toronto - last time I was 5th row from the stage. I can honestly say that while being up front was AMAZING, I had just a good a time as I did when I was in the 200 level. Just being there and feeling the atmosphere is such a high! Hey, and you have way better seats than I did the first time when I was in the 200 level, so you're going to have a brilliant time. My advice is (if I were in your shoes): if you have a foot condition that prohibits you from standing for too long, then stick with your seats and enjoy the show comfortably. If you can sit before the show and enjoy yourself, you will have a much better time once Coldplay comes on stage. I hope this helps! Enjoy the show!
  2. Hey guys...sorry for my lame attempt at sounding cool in the title of this thread. I wanted to ask what you guys thought about me taking my 12 year old niece in the PIT with me when they come to Toronto on July 30th. I have two pairs of tickets: one are for the PIT and the other are seats. I would love to be in the PIT, but if it's going to be too much for a 12 year old then I don't want to chance it. Having said that, I'm not interested in being up front and don't mind if we stand at the back (or near the back) of the GA section. I just want my niece to have an unforgettable expperience up there (this being her first concert experience ever). I guess I should also ask if you guys know if kids are allowed in the PIT area? Any thoughts on this are most welcome. :) Thanks!
  3. Hey guys...just wanted to post that I have two tickets in section 115 for sale. Seats are side by side, row 14. Of course, these are being sold for what I paid for them. If interested, PM me here. :)
  4. Well, all I can say is LINE UP EARLY. It seems to be the earlier you get there, the closer you can be to the front...but I would assume that even if you weren't right up front, you'd have a good view of the band/stage...I envy you with your tickets...enjoy the show!
  5. You won't be able to see the screen, but you should be able to see the stage fine (from the side, of course). Plus, you'll be a helluva lot closer than some! :D
  6. Hey....does anyone know of a more specific seating chart for the Rogers Centre? I have seats 105-106, so I'm not sure how far in they are...I didn't know seats went up that far?
  7. I can't believe I missed the presale. I thought it was going to be March 9th at 12 noon, but it looks like it was March 5th. Well smack me sideways! Sh*t! :veryangry2:
  8. As a long time U2 fan (more than 20 years) I can tell you that Bono has a warped sense of humor and that what he said was nothing more than his weird, wicked way of complimenting Chris...I think someone said it a few posts above mine when they said it was his way of being cheeky about his worry that Coldplay is catching up on U2's success. As for U2.com, I'm sure they are all slamming Coldplay right about now as they often do on there. I have often been attacked for being a Coldplay fan...I just tell people to chill out and stop being so damn paranoid over Coldplay stealing U2's spotlight. Anyway, I can totally understand why some people would be put off by his remarks...I love Bono, but he is a bit of an a$$.
  9. Then why does the main page for Coldplaying.com say that the Toronto presale was Feb. 12TH (today)? Confused. :stunned:
  10. Did anyone notice that the main page here states that the presale for Toronto was suppose to be today? :inquisitive:
  11. Do you guys really think that they could start the presale tomorrow? I mean, with no news and no confirmations, would they really do that? :shocked2:
  12. If you want to get a presale code you have to sign up to TicketRush.com. We have no idea why all the other ticket prices are listed and not the ones for Toronto, but we're speculating that's because details aren't finalized. Again, we're not even sure if the presale happens on Friday the 13th or not, so as you can see there's loads of confusion.
  13. Patrick Dempsey
  14. DITO! Oh my gosh, I've loved U2 since I was 9 years old (that adds up to 20 years) and I've never hated a song so much as I hate "Get On Your Boots". Having said that, I don't want to compare the two songs, especially since I'm not crazy about "Violet Hill" either (though I do like it, just not as much as the rest of the CD).
  15. Thanks again, everyone. Glad to see a friendly lot here...:)
  16. Heath Ledger (RIP)
  17. You guys have answered a lot of my questions...but yet managed to confuse me at the same time! LOL! Seriously though, thanks for some of the information. I didn't even know it was going to be at the Molson Amphitheatre b/c the website doesn't list it yet. I'm sorry if this has already been asked but how did you guys find this out?
  18. From one dear Canadian to another, hello back! Thanks for welcoming me.
  19. Hey everyone, Just a quick hello to introduce myself to the forum. I've been a Coldplay fan for about 7 years now and have loved every step of their musical journey thus far. Hoping to meet some great fellow Coldplay fans here!
