  1. Ok folks - so here is my idea.....what if there is a way to some how sneak into the video footage during "The Hardest Part" as Chris and Will sing - video footage of their families - you know times they have spent together during the tour, during the break or even what families did while dad's were away (without the band knowing) so maybe they will know how much we appreciate and truly understand what they sacrifice as they are on tour. I know this is not an easy task and the tour is coming to an end - but maybe it can be accomplished for their very last performance at Wembly. If we can partition to do so - or if anyone out there has any pull to get this done, I would truly appreciate the help. Thanks :sneaky:
  2. Welcome all you New England Coldplay fans!!! What do we have about 12 days and counting!!! Can't wait. You probably have seen my partition for the wearing of white t's w/red v's as a token of appreciation. Sorry to sound like a broken record - but really want to show some unity. Are we all pumped and are we on board?????
  3. Hey now that people are getting reved up for the show - how are we feeling about white t's w/red v's?
  4. I wish we had more fans logging on to really get the T-shirt thing working. I have a few other threads w/a few replies - but all seem to be up for it. Let's really try and get the word out
  5. Welcome from chicago - looking forward to all you travellers. Any thoughts about wearing the white t's w/Red V painted

  8. Hay all you new england fans - have been trying to form a unified way to get our message across to thank these guys not only for playing once but 3 times in the Boston area - my newest idea is wearing white t's w/big red V painted as Chris wears. We need to some how out do other countries/cities and states ao they'll keep coming back. Any other ideas?
  9. hey new england - we have less than 1 month before our big day - I started this thread a bit prematurely back after securing a ticket and maybe I am missing something - but we can't let other countries/cities/states out do out appreciation. What do you all think about grabbing white T-shirts and painting the Big RED V as Chris wears to show our support and appreaciation? Just an idea
  10. So did everyone get the ne Left right left right downloaded? Boy did it take me back to last years concerts!! I can still picture the songs being played and can't wait until 8/4 when theyyyy're baaaack!!!
  11. So who's ready for August 4th??? I can't wait!!!
  12. Come on Massachusetts what can we do? Do we all dress in yellow? Do we all dress in Red/white and black? Do we make giant glow in the dark butterflies for Lovers in Japan? Just some throw around ideas - lets get creative New england. Especially with more of this blasted white stuff that is falling yet again - think "summer"!!!:laugh3:
  13. Happy Happy 32nd - Old Man - lol Ahhh to be 32 again. Enjoy the moment Mr. Martin
  14. Dear Carapole Thi is what one country is doing: Ooh dearest Oracle. I'd like to know your opinion about this project a guy had : at the Coldplay concert in Paris-Parc des Princes, people will come dressed in red or/and white (Viva la Vida colors) and maybe a crown, to show how much we love Coldplay and to leave them a good memory of this gig (I'm sure this concert will give us a great memory !)The guy made a group in facebook and website etc... as I see it's working. So, do you think it's a good idea ? I'm under the stage having a tidy up when the doors open to the punters in Bologna. This lot are already singing the Viva tune as they stream onto the floor. An Italian fansite has also organised the bringing of balloons, which they're bouncing and batting about the place long before the band take the stage. If they're this noisy and excitable at an empty stage, the gig can only be a good 'un. And indeed it is. I can't remember a louder crowd this whole tour. It's a great point in the tour to get a crowd like this. The set has settled to the point where the band can actually start really relaxing and enjoying it, as well as being aware of what's going on around them. We're also about five weeks into a run of shows and frankly, everyone is knackered. A vibe like tonight lifts everyone like a very, loud cheering and screaming shot in the arm. The balloons make an appearance on the B Stage, as one makes its way up. Chris announces that he will perform "the next song as a fat man. This is what Coldplay will look like in thirty years' time" The balloon goes up the shirt and true to his word, the song is delivered in a most overweight fashion. As well as balloons, there are gold paper crowns from another fansite, presumably in tribute to Anton Corbijn's Viva La Vida video. Chris picks one up in the midst of the song and it soon ends up perched on Guy's head. Rather suits him, actually Thes are just some of the things other fans have done Lets get creative New England!!
  15. Hey anyone talking about what we can do as a group to show appreciation? Other countries are putting us to shame - we need to get our acts together!! Start thinking ppl
  16. Hey Rick from Norway - do you happen to know Terje Heiseldall (I believe he's about 46). Was married to Susan (lost contact with them - not sure if they are still together)
  17. alright ppl - how do you add your pix and all the fun stuff on your posts?
  18. That's creepy we were so close - I probably have pix of you - lol
  19. I do have my tix - thanks I got them during presale. I am pretty excited!! Although I haven't been to the Comcast Center in years - I think my seats are not bad. Nothing will beat the seat at last years TDBank North concert though. I had the pleasure of winning my tix on the auction by ticket master and literally we were 4 people away from Gwyneth, Steven Spielberg, Jerry & Jessica Seinfeld. We had Giselle behind us - it was incredible. Went to the Oct show as well - unfortunately in the nosebleed section - still rocked though!!
  20. Massachusetts Fans Hey MA fans - where ru all?? I look every night for updates on the upcoming 8/3/09 concert at the Comcast Center and I am not finding anyone. Are you out there anywhere?? Let me know..
  21. So what as a group can we do to show our appreciation? I think it should be something grand. I am wondering if during "lovers in Japan" we all hold up giant hand made butterflies, we could really be creative - maybe make some glow in the dark ones etc..
  22. Great I dea I will try there. Thanks
