  1. For anyone interested I have an extra ticket for the MetLife Stadium show on the 16th. Floor Section 11 Row 15 Please PM me if interested!
  2. Hey fellow Coldplayers, my friend and I managed to score a pair of adjacent seats to the 5PM show so I'm happy to pass the two separate tickets I have for the 9PM show on to whomever is in need! One is Upper Balcony Row K, the other is Lower Balcony Row C, and the price is what I paid ($100). If you're interested just shoot me a PM.
  3. The VLV tour's setlist has just had a lot of sad sacrifices in my opinion. Square One, Speed of Sound, Yes, and Chinese Sleep Chant come to mind. The only good thing that came out of it, at least for me, was Cemeteries of London. Any day of the week I would trade Yellow for Shiver, Politik for Warning Sign, Fix You for Square One, and Glass of Water for Yes. Perhaps the next tour they will reevaluate the formula. Unfortunately I get a feeling they find themselves feeling "locked in" to playing singles/popular songs. Which means Yellow, Clocks, In My Place, Fix You, Viva La Vida are fixtures. More likely than not, Lovers in Japan, and Lost seem like they would be carried over. I won't even say they should play more classics. I would just love to see them strike out some regulars for other stuff. High Speed, Daylight, Amsterdam, Square One, White Shadows, A Message, Talk (hell I don't even like Talk), Rainy Day, etc.
  4. As a fellow Dave fan, and don't get me wrong I love Coldplay, I think it's fair to say that if you set the standard at DMB you will be disappointed with a lot of bands. What fakfak said is pretty much the truth. With DMB, you go to as many concerts as possible to hear as many songs as possible. Unfortunately I get a feeling with Coldplay revenues would tank if they got TOO creative. Pack each show with as many hits/singles as possible is an effective strategy. I would love to hear some more B-Sides or Parachutes material personally... On the plus side you can go to one or two concerts in a tour and have heard all they are going to play. Considering that this is the case I wish they would release an album for each tour, or adopt DMB's taping policy :)
