  1. I regret not opting for the "VIP Tour Package" tickets. If anyone has to rid of a pair or wants to trade for 120row10's + $ (naturally) please consider me? :)
  2. Hey thanks for that. That's pretty cool. I for one *ducks* am a little excited that they are playing the ACC as it IS a smaller venue and I tend to prefere that. Sound should be good??
  3. None ... I'm taking a gamble on Saturday ... if I fail at that, then here's hopes to a second show :o
  4. I was right on the rail on the inside corner of the catwalk (thanks to Marie/ ... think she may have gone back to France?). Chris was all over in front of me and on the catwalk on my right... I chickened out and called TM and got a refund. Section 105, Row 17, 2 seats. Just can not afford to have multiple sets of tics around ... and not all that into scalping. I don't think they were desirable seats????
  5. Am I crazy? I hope not. I just rid of my 105's. Wasn't thinking right when I ordered and thought that the lower the 100's would be closer but in turn it ends up being the total opposite. After reading all the posts here and some familiarity with the ACC, I just couldn't accept being in the end-zone for $130. So I'm going to roll the dice on Saturday. I don't really need to get too close as I was on the rail (right infront of Guy for the ladies ;) ) for their last show at Skydome/Rogers (2009). But I will be bringing someone who I "enlightened" on to CP and this will be their first show. Would like to be a little closer for them really. Am I crazy? PS: I really, really, really suspect that they will have a second show as well. But that is just too much of a gamble for me.
  6. Wait a sec ... section 105's kinna stink don't they?
  7. keep trying JUST got 2 section 105's at 10:36AM Front of the Lines that is Hmmmmm
  8. Hmmmm ... Aniti (or anyone else) do you happen to have the ticketmaster phone number that one would call to order for the Toronto show? Many thanks
  9. ? Still no info as of yet? Darn I took the morning off to sit here and wait. Oh well it's a nice day out.
  10. I don't want to get anyone worried here but I just had the privilege of seeing CP in Toronto on July 30th. I was in the pit front row .... well the rail. I noticed that despite his energy and enthusiasm that CM did not look very well. My mom who was about 15,000 people behind me also noticed this on the screens. I think they've toured too long and intensely. You look at what he gives the audience, and think of doing that every other night in between flights and busses etc. I suspect that they need to rest for a bit. God love 'em
  11. Now how in the name hell do I change "My Mood" emoticon? Sorry guys just a little lost. I am no longer post Coldplay depressed but anticipatory of any future shows. Edit .... got it sorted thanks
  12. PS: Since the original Rogers TO thread now seems to be dying out ... does anybody out there have an audio recording of the show. Would love to relive it. Sorry this is a multi-post. Please PM me if you can help. Jason
  13. How about a cover song (during the encore) that they have done in the past and one would assume that because they've done it before they'd love to hear us do it? Good idea? But yes ... we the pit crew HAVE to unify in doing something spectacular to totally surprise the band. Jason
  14. Did anyone by chance do an audio recording of the show that the may share with me via PM? Would love to relive it again. Jason
  15. Hey purple girls ... I remember the security guy taking that picture of you. I was to your right in the corner.
  16. Please add me to the list.... Had the honour of seeing CP in Toronto Canada July 30, 09. Grabbed a bunch of butterflies .... had this idea in my head that it would be neat if I were to post them along the walls of my room with the show (or envelope) written on them. A sort of world tour ... sorry just getting over seeing CP depression. So, anybody want some from TO or have even just 1 from your show? PM me if interested, Jason
  17. Strange dream Ziggy ... but I too always have strange dreams. You're right about the "Elbow bug" ... it helps Should we keep this thread going or start a new one "Toronto: Date TBA"? :P I also have this sneaking suspicion/feeling that wouldn't leave me surprised that CM may do a solo or feat album after a little break from this crazy, crazy tour.
  18. I am and it sucks. Can't even listen to them. I waited so long to see them and now what am I to do? :\
  19. Does anybody know of a butterfly exchange thread on this board? I think I recall seeing something similar awhile back. Essentially I'd love to have a butterfly from the shows around the world in exchange from the ones that I picked up in Toronto. I'd kind of like to post them along one of my walls with the envelope of where it came from. Thanks, Jason
  20. All I have to say about the concert was that it made my year. Thank you so much Marie. I was at the front rail in the very corner where the right catwalk started. Although I loved where I was I couldn't but help wish that I could move to different spots as the band moved. This is not a complaint in anyway ... as I sad I loved my spot. I think that this normal. Unlike many here ... I didn't mind the Kitty band too much. Yeah the male looked like he was 18 years old. I think that the sound quality was better at the front as we had the amps to listen to. Did anyone else notice that volume wise Kitty(low), Elbow(medium), CP(loud)? I think that they either do that to build up the anticipation or has something to do with the number of bodies in the audience. Was very impressed with Elbow. Felt kinna bad for them because they knew everybody was really waiting for CP. But on the up side the probably gained many new fans. The singer was good and had a really nice demeanour/vibe about him. CP ... OK I'm secure in my masculinity. But, I have to confess that listening to certain songs at home always brings tears to my eyes. Yeah, real men do cry. I'm not sure why but it may be an association with the time I lived in England and CP were just getting airtime. I also suspect that it may be CM's emotions and lyrics ... I dunno ... but as they came on stage (I could see them behind the screen with the sprinklers) I started to tear up. Now thank god that the huge security man was in front of me and I just made it look like it was the smoke or something. But I didn't tear up for the rest of the show ... and I thank you guys for that. Because there was just so much positive emotion and cheers even during the tough songs for me. Thanks folks, Now I have to find something to look forward to.
