I'm a war gamer, right now I'm playing Battlefield 1942 and Operation Flashpoint. I can't wait for Call of Duty to come out on November 4th.

What are some of your favorites? Mine would have to be Saving Private Ryan, loved the ending where he was told to go home and earn this, its the only movie I've cried too, and Band of Brothers was a work of genius. It got to where you wanted to see all these guys go home, so basically Spielberg + Hanks + $ = Great war movies. I also loved We Were Soldiers, Black Hawk Down, and To Hell and Back: the Audie Murphy Story.

Thats my favorite movie too, the ending was the greatest, better than Sixth Sense I think and Kevin Spacey is a genius. Kinda weird though because my name is Jacob too. :thinking:

the Life of David Gale had a good one, Usual Suspects is my favorite movie :smug:

Thank for the welcome, as to the ASF as far as I know it only works on streaming video, but I'm looking for an audio recorder too. I look around here a lot and figured I'd start posting. I post a lot on the P.O.D. boards or thesouthtown.com boards that is but Coldplay is quickly becoming one of my favorite bands.

New here, but I wanted to tell noni about a program called ASF Recorder. D/L and install this and then go to the link to either video and right click and select properties, copy the link, now open ASF Recorder and select file and then open URL, then paste the address in there. It will save a copy of streaming video to your hard drive, and btw it saves it in window's media format, but theres other programs to change it to .mpeg or .mpg if you want. Hope this works for you because it worked for me.
