well, that's an opinion of one radiohead fan. I am first and foremost a long-time fan of radiohead, and yeah, they sound similar, but hey, i reckon they're both somewhat choir-trained British men...ZOUNDS...now how could they at all sound similar. Now let's not forget Thom's brother's band Unbelievable Truth...oh no! He sounds like Thom too!!! Chris Martin is a huge fan of Thom Yorke, and has great respect for him as a person and an artist. I don't think he would attempt to "rip off" songs from a band he admires...rather, more like admiration perhaps? We sometimes forget that there were also other bands around when Radiohead came out, and people were saying about how Radiohead might have had a sound similar to theirs... Coldplay has paved theirs as well. I don't forsee Coldplay playing songs like Idiotheque in the near future :) Strong yes, but it's just my opinion. ~A

Yah, Gus sounds like some big dumb guy :P He sits quiet a while and no one knows his name? They wouldn't dare put something stupid like "Craig Martin" heheee I guess I should have put it over there...but I know most of you are here anyway too... :shrug:

I just finished watching the MuchMoreMusic Profile on Coldplay and when they panned over Guy, they put his name as "Gus Berryman". Just cos the poor man chooses to be quiet doesn't mean his name is not worth knowing ;) ESPECIALLY If you are doing a SPECIAL on the band he's in!! We all know his name is well worth knowing *wink wink* Gus...*shakes head*

yes! i saw it too...I had a real clocks day that whole day. I learned how to play clocks on the piano, then i heard it on the radio, and then i was watching er and saw it. for a second, i thought i was imagining it :)

I know they are still together, but my friend was watching VH1 last night, and they were going on about chris, and they mentioned his "former girlfriends" and they mentioned Gwyneth in that category. I would be pissed. Unless it's true (then I would also be sorta glad!) haha just useless nattering...I guess stars are compensated with enough $$ to put up with all the gossip crap. I'd take the gossip for that kinda money ;)
