I just wanted to share my excitement in the fact that I'll finally get to see Coldplay in 2 weeks!!! Yay! BUT! It's actually snowing today which stinks...hopefully it won't be in 2 weeks...or in 1 week for that matter :) Argh! and Yay!

I hate to say it, but I almost need a break...not listen to it for a couple of months..and then re-appreciate it...The only thing I do when I hear it, is listen to the dj after it to see if i can call in and win something (like maybe backstage passes!!!!) I wish..I'll be damn happy if I get a good place to stand at the concert. I told my friend Liz that I would do Coldplay quiz to get my ass to the front..."what's guy's middle name?" *push* "out of my way, loser!" I suspect there'll be a lot of young girls who are just there to see chris martin, and i have to beat them to the front! (i can't believe i'm saying that at my age :))

As I've stated previously, I know just how much MuchMusic sucks. I'd rather watch MuchMoreMusic which is supposed to be the "mellow" alternative, when actually they play all the music I like (which I wouldn't exactly classify as "mellow" or "old people" music). It's times when they can't spell names right (i.e.Buckman, and Gus) that piss me off...it's those little things..they're big enough, they don't have to be sloppy retards. EVERYTIME i turn on MuchMusic, I get an earful of RAP :P All the time, with the Rap. I understand it's popular, but come on now! And while we're on it...I don't know about anyone else's radio stations (ours at work is on all of the time), but they've killed "Clocks" for me, because they always always always always play it at least 2 times a day. ARGH!! I love the song, but now it's just "Popular music"...ech..takes the originality out of it for me. Stupid media. The bottom line: Variety=unimportant Overplaying songs & Rap=important A

i love both albums... there are, however, songs that i will "skip over" in order to get to other songs (i.e. "green eyes")...but the way chris is usually gaga over a girl in his lyrics makes me love them! Maybe i'm just a hopeless, drippy, sappy, romantic...but HELL, it does it for me baby :) i'm more into the mellow tunes anyway...i was into harder stuff when i was a bit younger.

warning sign for me.. i always used to walk to work with that song in my md player.

i would also like to point out: for someone who dislikes coldplay so vehemently, i'm rather surprised that you would spend so much of your time on a messageboard dedicated to them... 62 posts on a messageboard of a band you don't like is pretty good for someone who has titled everyone else "fucking idiots" :)

news flash for reilly: you're not the only radiohead fan in the world. if you're so passionate and defensive about the music you love, why does it seem you are critical towards others for being passionate about the music/musicians they like? You're definitely entitled to your opinion, but why sit here blaring "radiohead is better" to all of us, when, as you can see for yourself, many of us are radiohead fans as well as coldplay fans? Why don't you ask Thom Yorke what he thinks?
