Would Coldplay LP5 release date be affected U2's next album?
As Chris has stated he is still waiting for the bands greatest album like Sgt Pepper. They haven't reached it yet and does not think it is on this album and maybe he will never reach it but the fans beg to differ based on sales of records and revenue from concerts past. Chris have you set your bar too high. After all Sgt Pepper is one of the all time best albums but in terms of sales and your fan base you have performance wise reached your greatest and it what you have created is not your greatest then I can only imagine what is yet to come. I have to say however that I agree it would not be in the best interest of the record label to put both U2 and Coldplay out at the same time due to tour conflicts and level revenue streams. After all this is how they make their living so they have to time it just right. U2 will sell concerts as will Coldplay but can the fans afford both concerts?? Maybe both LPs' but the cost of concert tickets these days it would put some serious hurting on tour revenue if the fan of both U2 that know how awesome a U2 concert is Live and have been to one or not but have heard how awesome they are live wanted to see them as this could be a final tour and have seen Coldplay each tour and realize they have more tours to come.... it would be a tough sell. let's just hope that we can get both in the same year..................spread out and timed right.

Dec 1st and announcement of perhaps album release date and tour dates coming soon... One can only hope as they missed Florida on the last tour due to Chris being sick so hoping they come back twice this time to make up fr it.. Once in Orlando and then maybe Tampa?? A girl can wish can't she?

OK posters... remember that every song has a meaning behind it?? The title has to have a meaning. Teardrops in heaven, could possibly be another Fix you??? If you love Coldplay as I am sure all of us on this forum does then we all know titles don't make the song great it is the band that plays it that makes the songs title work.. Patiently waiting.......
