Yeah, demos (especially in the modern age) often have a lot more raw energy and emotion than the final version of a song. Can often sound too perfect, sterile and and soulless (not saying this is the case with Coldplay). But demos often speak to people on a different level. That's why peoria often love recordings from the early days, cause they still had this raw emotion (and some mistakes) left. R

If you would have followed this thread at least for a day you would have had these demos. But too late mate...sorry;) Alternatively ask Pajaro, cause hell probably give them too you anyway.

I actually recorded one last night myself. You can have that one too if you want. Just me and a piano;) It doesn't get better...

Yeah, you're right... It's the "new people" that I'm most worried about. The ones that weren't in this thread from the beginning. Cause when I sent them to coldplaykb I hoped to be able to keep them within the "inner circle" of this thread. But of course someone did the stupid thing of changing the name of this thread. Why?? And the pajaro (or whatever his name is) spreading them to every corner of the world.

However, that was just the "ps" of my post;) Hope it came across that I'm not happy with the way these demos are being mass spread. But of course, I was naive to think they would only stay with a limited amount of people. And the fact that this thread is still here only draws even more attention. R

That is so true. I feel like this guy is taking too much credit for all this;) And he sure is spreading them around. I might as well have put them on YouTube right away. Ok guys! I'm not going to sell these tracks. You're right...not out after money or ripping anyone off. Just know that if I give you these tracks, they will be known all around the world within 10 minutes. For example, I just found Bloodless Revolution on 50 different websites around the world, and all over Youtube. And the same thing would happen again. And it's not fair to Coldplay to let the whole world hear them. So don't mind to give you some of the other ones...if there was a way to keep them ONLY within the forum, and avoid spreading to every part of the world. Especially You Tube. R

Hey all, My intention when starting this thread was to let people know about these demos, and to share a little taster to y'all. But as soon as I did it, I kind of regretted it. After all, these are very private recordings, and I'm sure Chris would feel a bit annoyed about it. And I've got a huge responsibilty here as well...having these demos in my hands. Some of it is not very well performed either, Chris just laying down ideas thinking no-one would ever hear it. So I gave you the good (and one of them being GREAT) ones, the ones that wouldn't make Chris look bad;) But the rest of them are better off not being all over the Internet, I think. Out of respect. And the reason I put the price so high is only for one reason. If someone would offer me that money of course I couldn't say no. Even if I didn't want to spread them, that amount of money would be hard to resist and say no to, as I need extra money right now. So setting the price high would at least make the decision easier and make it less likely that anyone would want them. Anyway, hope that helped and you've enjoyed the three tracks I did post. Peace, R
