You can eat chicken and still be a vegetarian. Chicken is considered a bird, so it does not count. It only specifies which kind of vegetarian you are. The thing is to not eat cows, pigs, etc etc. For example I'm a lacto-ovo-vegetarian. That means eggs and dairy is ok, but not fish or birds. As I understand it Chris is a pesco-vegetarian which also can be refered to as a demi-vegetarian (demi means half in greek).

From what you say I would call him a pesco-vegetarian that hasn't excluded birds from his diet. That means he is okay eating dairy, eggs and probably gelatine (but that is very individual).

I am very happy to hear that you got to meet a friend of Chris'! :) Lovely pictures also. Thanks for posting! You've done amazing Pete and I agree with everything you say. And we know how much you have been planning and organizing things. And that is why I am so sad you couldn't come. But we will for sure do it again. Needless to say, you and Anna make a killer arganizing team! :D You did do everything right. Agreed to 100%. All in all I think there is a need for a bit more respect for those who have put their heart and time into this meet-up that has been a real success.

I just want to second what Nat and Carrie wrote. You are doing an amazing job Anna. It is a fact that we would not be here together if you had not taken over after Julie when she could not make it here. So thanks much my darling! I am very proud of you and I love you alot! :heart:
