yellow guitar acoustic cover
I know that in Glastonbury 2002 it's not clear at all what he's playing but I do see his hand in a different fret...that's why I brought it up (about the chorus with "your skin and bones"). All I see is that he's probably playing 1 measure of somewhere around the 2nd fret for the line "your skiiin," and then he moves up somewhere does some chord for half a measure and then does another different chord for the other half measure. Basically, Your skiin (change) oh yeah your (change) skin and bones (change) turn iin (change)to something (change) beautiful (change) etc etc. It's kind of hard to write when he changes on here but I think you should get what I mean. I guess I might be asking too much for you to know exactly what he's playing but I thought I'd just point out that his chords are different, and that I wanted to know the way he played.

I have another question: I know it's not really that easy to get it exactly how Coldplay does it, but I noticed while watching a live performance (Specifically the 2002 Glastonbury performance on youtube) that during the chorus, Chris plays it different from how you do. I was wondering if you made those chords up or not, and if you knew the way Chris plays it. I also noticed another part that is sort of different. During the chorus, when he sings "you know I love you so" or "for you I'd bleed myself dry," right after that you hear the acoustic play a couple strums. I noticed in the video that Chris plays the chords somewhere around the 2nd fret. Just wondering which chords those are because I thought that part was the Badd...whatever number it was. basically the chord 0 0 8 0 9 7 I just want to know which chord it really is. I get penalized all the time for wanting to play it exactly the way a band plays it from a couple of friends and I just think that it's total "horse manure" that it's (I quote from a friend) "impossible to play exactly how they do."

I realized that in the first video you made, you changed chords when the electric plays over, but then in the second video, you played basically the same chords over and over again throughout the song except for the chorus. How come?

Another need for help: Yellow
Sorry if this is really old..but can someone help me out with the chorus? I still haven't "trained" my ears and honestly I can't hear the acoustic guitar play behind the electric guitar.. Actually, I'm not even sure how the strumming or which chords Chris plays when the electric takes over. If someone could make a video or something with these chords, that'd be great. But if you don't, that's fine too. I'm just not sure whether he plays something different from what he plays in the acoustic version or not.. Thanks in advance if any help is given :) Oh yeah, even if this is for the acoustic version of the song, I'm sure he plays it the same in the electric version...I think hehe
