i think the stigma of 'it's oh so quiet' and the dove dress have stuck in peoples minds and stopped them listening to more. a bit like what creep did to radiohead. *imagines thom in a dove dress* when i'm with people who haven't heard her i tend not to tell them who it is that i am putting on, and then when they ask who it is they are shocked and say they didn't know she made music like that.

the album version is much better. pretty much the perfect song. they don't have it on youtube though.

i don't know the ages of people on the board usually so i dunno. i would suspect so though. my favourite is between 3 - unravel, joga and all is full of love (both album version and single version - both very different) second tier of amazingness sees hidden place, hunter, it's not up to you, cocoon and possibly maybe. there is so much though.

i remember when i was like 17 and at a low point and considered going to see if i could have tests to see if i could have kids, and if it came out that i couldn't i'd just end it. glad i'm not in those days anymore :stunned:

get homogenic and vespertine. they are beautiful. i don't know which is better. homogenic is probably more easily accessible for relatively new listeners who haven't heard any/many album tracks.

does your mum let you listen to cocoon by bjork?
