  1. I just burped and didn't say 'pardon me'. Although I am alone. I'm not overly girly, but I guess I'm not all that manly either. :disappointed:
  2. What did I say? ^^ :whip:
  3. Btw, you're banned from this thread Greg :P
  4. So I'm sitting here listening to the amazingness that is Jeff Buckley, and wishing that he were still on this earth. An incredibly talented musician sadly taken far too soon. Who would you bring back if you could? Gandhi? Charles Dickens? Elvis? Martin Luther King Jr? Vincent van Gogh? Albert Einstein? (let's stick with famous people so this thread doesn't turn too sad)
  5. Richard Hammond's Blast Lab - because the kids were watching it. :P Otherwise, a show I actually chose to watch: last weeks ep of United States Of Tara
  6. :stunned: Well, fucking lucky for you that you suddenly grew that extra inch and a bit to make it to 6 feet then! :P You're a model?! Actually, that's not really surprising - you are very pretty.
  7. "In other words, men aren't romantic, and if you're a man, that's why you need this guide. If you're a woman, of course, you were born with an innate knowledge of this stuff and need not read further" :laugh4: I'm curious as to how you even came across this Greg?! :inquisitive:
  8. Question: Are the shorties on here adults, or teenagers that may still grow some more? I'm old so I'm definitely not going to grow anymore (1.62m/5'3"), but I actually stopped growing when I was 16. Also ethnicity plays a part. I'm half Asian and they're generally known for being shortarses. How would you feel if your girlfriend was significantly taller than you? I used to feel the same, but I'm not bothered anymore. I think we shorties generally get teased about it in high school, but as an adult it doesn't happen now. :laugh4: Damn - I'm too slow, pic gone now. :disappointed: My almost 11 year old daughter is quickly catching up to me. I'm actually the tallest in my family! Not much taller than my dad, but still. Oh, and he's not the Asian one either - just a short Hungarian. Although they're not really all that tall - are they? Haha, my kids love his blast lab show! I'm 5'3" and I am straight. :wink3: I think people are attracted to certain looking people though. Not that I wouldn't even look at a blonde guy, but I've just always been attracted to tall dark guys. Although, pretty much everyone is tall compared to me. :P Actually all of these height threads started because of you! :P
  9. Oh hell no. I recycle and try not to waste food - but I sure do like my creature comforts. Especially the heater and hot water!
  10. Teeny tiny :wacky: I don't actually know .......
  11. :laugh4: Gotta love Rove
  12. 3 windows, total of 8 tabs: Yahoo 7 news Emails 2 x Coldplaying threads Twitter Photobucket You Tube - Jeff Buckley Facebook Yeah, I'm bored. But it's 5.22am and I can't sleep. :dozey:
  13. Aawww ...... you're tiny! :nice: Here 1.62m/5'3" Hmmm, tall as well as dark and handsome :charming:
  14. 4.40am, can't sleep ..... :dozey: ....... so listening to Jeff Buckley ♥ and checking cping and fb.

And what if you have a girl next? :inquisitive: I tell my kids that Angel is my favourite daughter and Malachi is my favourite son. :P

I know it can seem like it sucks in hospital, but take advantage of the fact that there are other people to cook and clean for you! There is nothing quite as amazing as the fact that a precious little person grew inside you. Now that he is finally born cherish every little moment with him. Seriously, he is so adorable, all this baby talk is making me clucky! :baby:

You look(ed) fantastic! Seriously, all baby - lucky biatch :P Of course you may! Congratulations! Liam is absolutely beautiful :nice: And you look great for someone who has just given birth! I actually loved being pregnant - but I was really lucky and had quite easy pregnancies. The giving birth part is of course quite terrifying - but so worth it. :nice:

Welcome! :nice: Oh  And yep :dozey: I think everyone is shit scared of giving birth! But like they say - it passes, and you do forget, which is how most people end up with more than one child! :P Aaaww, sorry about your baby shower - but yay for finally having your baby!!! So he's early then? Are you being induced or having a C section? Best of luck with the birth, it really is an amazing experience bringing a life into the world. :nice: Will be thinking of you! Say whaaat?!?! Too true. :( Babies tend to prefer the box that the toy came in rather than the actual toy! :P You must be in 'over the top first birthday party' planning mode by now?

Oh, I do love my babies with all my heart - just in case that sounded like maybe I didn't. :\ No I meant that the first born is the one that parents practice their parenting on. Figure out what to do (because unfortunately kids don't come with an instruction manual - or a mute button :P), what works and what doesn't; where the boundaries should be etc. I was the practice child too. :D Nooo ........ really?! Sammy is sooo adorable!!! :nice:

I was actually the opposite - I couldn't stand the little ......... Both mine were 'surprises'. I think every new mum is like that - it's normal. :) And they do say your first is the practice child.

Hey everyone - I'm Katie :D I'm certainly no expert, but any new mums feel free to ask all those weird questions you might have. :) I have an almost 11 year old daughter, Angel; and an 8 1/2 year old son, Malachi (Mal-a-kie rhymes with pie :P). Yikes! :wreck: Angel is almost 11 going on 15 :dozey: I must admit I'm quite terrified of the teenage years. :nice: :freak: Aaaww congratulations! That's such a nice age - they are just soooo cute! Everything starts to get really exciting now when they start crawling and saying mum and dad. :nice: Congratulations and the best of luck! Are you overdue? I had to kick both of mine out as they were 13 & 12 days late. :dozey: I saw you asking in the Sammy thread about the hiccups. I don't recall Angel having them but Malachi had them all the time! It was quite a strange feeling. I also had awful heartburn with him and true to the old wives tale he had heaps of hair! :wacky: Oh pshh. You need to get cracking before your eggs dry up. :whip:  You are so sweet! I always say 2 is enough as I only have 2 hands. :P

Ummm, yeah .......... :shy: I did actually make this thread genuinely to see if there are other parents on Coldplaying that I could meet and chat to about parenty stuff. I personally won't be posting any pics of my kiddies though - I'm not comfortable having photos of them out in cyberspace. :\ But of course others are welcome to if they wish, I do love seeing the pics of baby Sammy. :baby: And thankyou sweet Greggles.
