Viva La Coldplay 87

I wouldn't call this thier "worst" but if I have to pick my least favorite CP album, it's X&Y. It's pretty good and has some very good songs but it's very inconsistent as a whole album, not to mention the lyrics are pretty lacking.

What's up? :) Again, a thousand apologies for the absences, college life and family is always a distraction from disscusing anything Coldplay or music, but I have managed to get back in the forums and made a post or two reguarding "Mylo Xyloto". Hahahahahaha! My gosh, I'm a huge fan of epic concept rock opera albums from The Who's "Tommy" to Green Day's "American Idiot" and "21st CBD" but this has got to be the most werid, creative and imaginative plots I've read yet! :D :laugh3: ... But what up with the man-bird harmony?

I actuallly haven't heard this or any of the new songs yet cause I want to wait in complete anticipation until the album comes out!! :D But if I must, I'm guessing it might sound like a fusion between Viva La Vida and Sparks - very intimate yet still epic.

As soon as I heard it, I might've gave it a 5-7/10 but MAAAAAN!! Does this song really GROW on you!! :D Jonny has really come into his own with this song, I LOOOVE his fast guitar playing on this one! And I also love the lyrics too, especally "Don't wanna see another generation drop / I'd rather be a comma than a full stop". Not that I'm looking for the rest of the album to be driving but it's really setting the tone for the new album! I love it! Absolutely love it!! CP's best song yet!
