  1. Not right. I am in Jarrow (5 miles from Newcastle) and there is no snow here as of 1:30pm today. Mind you that can all change before tomorrow but at the moment we have not had much new snow this week. Hope this helps.
  2. Agree with you that Tyne Theatre is almost a certainty. Especially as it has capacity of 1,100 and nowhere else in Newcastle springs to mind. Posted on another thread on Friday. As for hotels the ones you listed are probably closest but if cost is an issue travelodge on quayside is good price. Have checked and £29 for a room on 20th and only a 10-15 minute walk to Tyne Theatre or couple of minutes in a taxi. Check here and other options in Gateshead and further away listed with some at £19. http://www.travelodge.co.uk/search_and_book/index.php?action=search&check_from=&locationCode=h214&location=Newcastle+Central+Travelodge&checkInDate=20%2F12%2F2010&checkOutDate=21%2F12%2F2010&no_of_rooms=1&adults_1=2&children_1=0&adults_2=1&children_2=0&adults_3=1&children_3=0&adults_4=1&children_4=0&search=Search
  3. Almost certainly Tyne Theatre as pantomine runs from 10th December and is on all nights except on 20th where site states 'no performances'. Capacity is 1100 and cannot think of another 1,000 is capacity venue in Newcastle. Academy is about 2,000, so it City Hall, Sage is either 2,000 or 500 and is in Gateshead anyway and Arena is obviously too big.
  4. The single seats will just be the odd ones dotted around were there are none available next to them although they all seem to have gone now also.
  5. Order page just hasn't caught up but probably sold out.
  6. In case people were wondering the venue for Newcastle is almost certainly the Tyne Theatre. Couldn't think of any other Newcastle venues that were just seats with capacity of about 1,000 and the pantomine that runs from 10th December has no performances scheduled for 20th.
