The piano intro to Viva La Vida ALMOST brings me to tears everytime I hear it.

Hey all, Looking for what people think are the best Coldplay shows? This word 'best' can obviously mean anything but I really dig when Chris changes lyrics, adds new improvs to piano/singing for example Toronto end of Square One. Beginning of Viva La Vida at Glastonbury etc.

So I was watching this and it got me thinking... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2DmDfFpAt6E Mobile Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2DmDfFpAt6E Probably going to get a lot of hate for this but I'd be interested in people's serious opinions etc. I listen to so much music and never seen a band create such stunning music to utter rubbish, bands have the odd 1 crap album or whatever sure but what an incredible band they were up until X and Y and maybe Viva La Vida. The last 2 albums are just been complete garbage. I understand going in a new direction and all that but the last 2 albums are just generic electronic pop crap reinforced by the people they have collobarated with. I saw them the other week at Capital FM show and the songs weren't so band with an actual band playing but what about writing beautiful outros like in White Shadows, Square One and the breakdown in Politik. I'd be happy if they just went to playing as an actual band. Just don't know where these magical moments and crafted genius melodies/lyrics from the first 3/4 albums went. I think they pretty much exclude all first 3 albums from their setlists nowadays apart from Yellow but who wants to really hear that for the millionth time. I travelled a long way to just see them play Shiver when they brought it back a few years ago. I could go on a long time but I also thing Chris' piano playing is second to none and it's being so wasted with this Paradise Debacle. Also it's a joke the prices they charge for their tickets now to say the least.

This band is far too popular for my liking :( Parachutes is so under appreciated and known. Viva La Vida is now their anthem when it isn't their best stuff.

I don't get why everyone says it's so good, it's the same as usual.
