  1. :( It does kinda suck, but I can see why they would do that. So if you moved into the district, you would probably get in? Must be nice to get that much extra credit. One of my guy friends (the same one who daydreams in physics) had a 156% in Agriculture last year, but every time he took a test, his grade would drop, even though he always got 100% on them :P :wtf:
  2. I remember the fireturtles, but I don't remember Robin coming in xD  Remember when it was just me, you, and Julia in this thread? This made me laugh really loud for some reason >___>
  3. I'm gonna go make lunch, be back in a bit :escaping:
  4. :cheesy: Are you really?! When are you guys going? Ooh, cool, we went to San Antonio last year (flat out best five days of my life). And yes, the bus ride is always the best  Last year on the way back, we had every single band member crammed into the middle section of the bus playing a giant game of spoons--there were people draped across seats and laying all over the floor on top of each other :wacky: It was so epic.  I wish I could control myself like that
  5. Hey, don't let us be your example :P I'm actually probably the least intelligent person in my group of friends (one of my guy friends claims that physics is 'boring' and frequently spaces off in class, yet still makes a 102 for his overall grade :blank: ) I don't think you sound spoiled--you're just not used to getting 'low' grades and it's perfectly understandable that you'd feel upset. Plus, it's better that you go through this now rather than get hit with it in college where it really counts.  Usually there's extra credit on chem, world history, and English II honors tests, but there's never any on my art or Spanish I tests, and we've had one extra credit opportunity all year in Alg II
  6. omg, that kind of just happened in my circle of friends. Two of my friends really liked each other, but then the girl started dating a guy that was outside the group and now my guy friend hates her guts and refuses to acknowledge her at all. Luckily, the rest of us were able to bridge the gap, so we're all still really close. It's just really awkward. :blank: Two of my guy friends absolutely despise Coldplay (and they frequently let me know their opinions of them) and everyone knows I'm the obsessed fangirl, but there's enough people at my school that listen to a few of their songs that it isn't really a problem. Of course, I get teased by my friends, but we're so mean to each other anyway that I just insult them back :P omg, we are such a messed up family  We're going to Florida  27 hour bus ride. We'll have to bring lots of spoons . . .
  7. Exactly  I could understand if it was an extra credit problem or something (our chem quizzes frequently have extra credit that we wouldn't know how to do unless we read ahead) but putting it on the actual test seems very unfair. Ugh, that's not good :uhoh: I've made straight A's throughout my school career, but there's been a couple of close calls (geometry last year, Algebra I seventh grade year) and I currently have a B in art :blank:
  8. I'm the one with the weird taste in music in my school :P Everyone knows my obsessions also. Most of my friends are in honors classes also :awesome: Unfortunately, about half of them are a year older than me, so they're in their own honor classes . . . but we're all in band :sneaky: *dreams about next year's band trip :wacky:*
  9. *internet high five* D: That's horrible
  10. I despise tests that do that. I understand--this is the first year I've had to study at all for anything also. Albeit, I always glance at my study guides a few minutes before the tests as a quick refresher, but I've actually had to cram for Chemistry tests several times this year. :P lol integrated middle schools :P
  11. I think our high school has about 350   My smallest class (not counting gifted . . . I don't even know if that's a class anyway) has 12 kids and my biggest has about 20
  12. Wow, okay, my town isn't that small :P Our graduating classes are usually somewhere between 70-90 kids. :surprised: Cool
  13. Really? As I said, I find it easier than freshman year (but it might just be because I sucked at geometry [Algebra II is so much easier] and there weren't any honors classes where you could have more one-on-one time with your teachers) My school goes 1-5 then 6-8 then 9-12 :P
  14. I actually find it a bit easier, but I may not be on the same curriculum as Megalomania. :( That sucks. My school isn't like that at all--then again, my town is pretty small.
  15. Probably Marvin  or Kramer
  16. Umm . . . Journalist, editor, writer . . . *tries to think of more*
  17. Sorry, Anna, I've gotta go get ready for the day. I'll be back later though
  18. I've never actually talked to her, but by her posts she seems like a really nice person :wreck:
  19. wat :uhoh: *computer explodes*
  20. That's actually kinda funny :)
