Hi all! This is my first time opening a new thread. So if this is not suitable for this lovely forum, then admins/moderators, please take it out/lock it and my feelings wont be hurt! :cool: I've read people's little notes on here and seen that we all go thru tense moments, tough schedules, hard times, and difficult decisions. One guy is trying hard to continue his MBA, someone else is having exams, others are looking for jobs, still others are making decisions that would alter their lives... I just came across this wonderful memo and the song it relates to, and thought of sharing it here. It's just a positive message. I'm not a Christian but still can relate to it....and of course, the song itself is nonsectarian. But rather than posting it here, I'll just give a link. Hope it's an inspiration and helps. oh...cool beans! presentations are nice...when you don't have to be the one giving them! ;-) :lol: umm...middle ages social history....look into Carmina Burana by Karl Orff..well, that's the music, but the music is based on the stories written by monks and such...it's a really interesting read on european society of middle ages. (actually, isn't calling it 'middle ages' a slur among the intelligentsia? :rolleyes: they liked to have detailed names for each period! :D )

awww Ali...what's up? hope you get well soon! *hugs* umm..Jewel...universities should have easy access to the internet...on-campus libraries, computer labs, some classrooms,...computers are everywhere...and on a high-speed line, too! and yeah, i thought it would be more like Canterbury Tales! :sneaky: I remember some characters from that... the Miller's tale! ( :lol: )...some of those are pretty steamy for that age...or our perception of that age/time! :blush:

hey dude, whoa..that's like the only substantive post I've read on here! I mean, you wrote down a mini-essay, man! :cool: that's really nice of you, and quite refreshing! Most posts in here are one or two-liners. And yeah, I post that way myself, but I also like to write down my full thoughts...kinda cool to see someone else do that for a change!
