Maybe EMI are going to put up the same announcement as Coldplay.com so they have to bring them all down to put it on two websites at once. And they brought them all down because they dont want to fuck up such a big announcement!!!

It might be best to think nothing of it for now! And when we get some huge announcement that brings down the whole Internet we can get excited

I hate to say this but I have just checked Katy Perry's and Gorillaz's websites who are also attached to EMI and their sites are down too so maybe it is an EMI thing and this is nothing to do with an LP5 announcement!!!

I reckon they are doing some kind of trouble shooting ahead of an announcement soon. Friday at the latest surely!!!!!!!!
