  1. Drummer Wanted for Indie/Pop band. The band is already very well established and is signed into a unique deal with a label. Lots of exciting opportunities are coming up including festivals, tours around UK/Europe and over the coming year recording an album with a known producer. The band also have exclusive use rehearsal studio. The music is influenced by bands such as Coldplay, Doves, Belle & Sebastian, Guillemots, Athlete and Britpop bands ala Blur, Bluetones and Teenage Fanclub. Looking for a hard working and dedicated individual serious about making a career out of being a drummer in a band, touring the world and recording albums. For a couple of years we've struggled with drummers without the passion, who overplay and haven't fit the bill properly. 'So many drummers seem to just be into Metal, double bass pedals, Pearl Jam and Blink 182.' We're after someone who is into the same bands as us, isn't work shy, ideally can drive, 20-30 years old, have a flexible job that allows time to practice and go on tour when required. Ideally living around Essex/London as we have a rehearsal studio 10 minutes from the M11 in Essex and are likely to practice twice per week at least. Send us a reply describing the bands you listen to, any experience in bands, current situation etc. The more details the better. We're not a boy band, but a picture would be useful too.
