Okay, I really think Hurts Like Heaven will be the single. It makes sense, because to me that song sounds like the beginning of some uprising that the whole album will focus on. The lyrics sound like a guy giving a speech to a group of people and getting them all worked up (We won't let them take control NO WE WON'T LET THEM TAKE CONTROL!"). Also everyone seems to be convinced that Hurts Like Heaven is the first track on the album, so it would make sense with that meaning because it shows the beginning of some kind of resistance or rebellion that the album focuses on. For these reasons, I think they may choose Hurts Like Heaven as the single. That way, the single is like an introduction to the story behind the album. Just a thought I had after reading that magazine article that mentioned Hurts Like Heaven as a possible single...

Well X&Y had 13 tracks, and Viva La Vida had 13 tracks if you include hidden tracks, so HOPEFULLY they keep this up, even if it is in hidden tracks

Well, in that Q magazine article, it said something about Hurts Like Heaven would be a likely single. However, the information in that is a bit outdated I think. Charlie Brown seems like a likely choice as well.

There was a little pamphlet thing that showed all the different maps in the game. There were a lot....it looked very promising

Not only are the colors of the costumes of Coldplay and the picture similar, but Johnny's hat is the same hat as the ones worn by the people in the picture of them sawing down the pole.

Before the thread is abandoned, I'd like to say that I had yet another dream with Coldplay in it :\ In the dream, they announced their new album, and they were asking fans to vote on song names and album title :laugh3: The album cover had a lot of purple on it too. The weirdest part: the album came with a Coldplay-themed first person shooter game hahhahahah :laugh3:

That's interesting...maybe like on the tracklisting for the album it appears as "MX/Hurts Like Heaven" or something, if it isn't a separate song. Or maybe she doesn't count it because it's too short..?

I'd like to believe that, but Debs said they had never heard of Mylo before. Not only did she say that, but she said "(or his swastika!)" like it would be absolutely ridiculous to have drawn inspiration from him. There sure is a lot of pretty sold evidence (I thought) pointing towards Mylo though...maybe Debs is LYING :cry:

If Mylo Xyloto is just a placeholder, why did they choose the words "Mylo Xyloto" when they could have chosen anything? I'm thinking that if it is indeed a placeholder, it's possible that "Mylo Xyloto" is somehow a shortened version of the REAL title...maybe...

Well...we don't know for sure. Alien Radio could have become UFO or something. But maybe the lyric "Alien Radio" is used somewhere in the song, which is why it was originally the name, but it got changed. However, I really hope Alien Radio is a song, because not only is it a great song title (in my opinion), but it would mean that UFO is a separate song, which means there are two space-themed songs possibly on the album. I love the whole space theme :laugh3:
