I have listened to and enjoyed Coldplay for a long while. Their music has helped me through some tough spots, and has made me truly feel like everything is not lost. I have always wanted to see them live, and I was able to see them 2 summers in a row (2011 and 2012). Needless to say, those night are some of the highlights of my life. With that said, how could I or anyone for that matter go about meeting them the next time they play a concert? Does luck just have to be on your side that night? Do you have to wait outside the venue for hours? Get there early? I believe the 2012 concert I attended offered VIP tickets, but no meet and greet. Do they do meet and greets at all? For those that successfully had the chance to meet a member or members of the band was it just pure luck? Well the night after the 2012 concert one of my friends spotted Chris Martin downtown Chicago. They were lucky enough to get a picture with him. According to the friend he was with his daughter and son Apple and Moses and a big security guard. I mean a bump in would be a very unlikely way to meet, but very amazing. I always thought it would be awesome to get Coldplay to play a private concert and according to an extremely long yet informative interview Chris Martin said it would take about 1 million dollars to get them to play a private concert. There is absolutely no way I could possibly afford 1 million dollars, but if we gather a few hundred Coldplay fanatics I am totally in. So if we get an X number of people & each pay a Y amount of money. 10 people = $100,000, 50 people = $20,000, 100 people = $10,000, 200 people = $5,000, 250 people = $4,000, and so on. A 250 person crowd plus a meet and greet would be so worth it as opposed to a 23,000 person concert. I apologize if I am sounding a bit crazy right now haha. If you are seriously considering this idea pm me and we will make it happen somehow eventually. haha Sorry if this sounds completely idiotic.

Yes it was great! I am so lucky! I was there with my brother. He recorded Amsterdam with a flip cam. The audio isn't bad at all, and the video quality isn't bad either just a little shaky. Video is uploading as we speak and will be my next post. AMAZING COLDPLAY CONCERT!!!

I'm actually not sure what time the gates open, but I am guessing around 6 well it would be cool to just greet fellow coldplayers. It doesn't have to be a whole hang out thing.

Well I doubt there will be cabs waiting outside the venue. You will have to take it upon yourself to actually call a taxi service to actually pick you up, and take you to your destination. Haha Yeah that would be fun. Around what time did you have in mind?

Wow this sounds great. Meet and greet with Coldplay + it goes towards a good cause! I wish I could afford this :P. Nonetheless, I am going to be watching this bid very closely. Maybe I will get lucky somehow lol. Anyone want to be in on this with me? I mean you only have to put up 1500 dollars!!!! :P

That sounds geat! I'm section 114 if I recall properly. Not as awesome as 102, but still pretty awesome :P. Still wish I could have gotten some floor tickets though :D. Maybe for the next Coldplay concert :)

Yup, live in the south side of Chicago :). Yeah I don't meet many Coldplay fans either. I meet random people and turn them into Coldplay fans haha :D
