  1. uhm, if you love LIVE music is not all THAT good... it's lame for me.
  2. like he did in this song, for example [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7HkjGg_pPJU&feature=related]Coldplay - Lost! - YouTube[/ame]
  3. no, this is playback. he just play with over a pre-recorded beat to have a bigger sound.
  4. I think this post just an attempt to comfort yourself and to excuse another Coldplay's failure.
  5. just look @ a random live video where they play ETIAW, he clearly play over a pre-recorded beat.
  6. Jacknife Lee and Dave Fridmann on top of the list, but they should work well even with Alan Moulder, Peter Katis, Dave Sardy and Rick Rubin. Like i've said in another thread, with Rick Rubin as producer would be a REAL challenge for a band like coldplay.
  7. petty arguments ? you don't want to have a discussion, you just want to read positive comments because you like the new songs, but unfortunately for you there are persons here that think differently.
  8. live most of the new songs will be played along with a pre-recorded beat, like ETIAW and a lot of songs from viva la vida.
  9. and who are you to tell me what to do here ?
  10. and what about this post ? :laugh3::lol: i can't stop :lol:
  11. maybe i'm not a groupie like you. END OF STORY.
  12. the hi hat is clearly programmed by a drum machine like the whole beat of the song, i can hear the difference between a real snare and an electronic one...
  13. Jacknife Lee, Dave Fridmann, Alan Moulder, Peter Katis, Dave Sardy just to name a few. And Rick Rubin would be a real challenge for them.
  14. i wouldn't change my mind over some standard drums and a more acoustic feeling.
  15. There are a lot of ways for a drummer to experiment, the electronic 'route' is the worst.
  16. i know the sound of her voice, and it's enough for me.
  17. have you already listened the album ?
  18. a REAL drummer hates the electronic drums
  19. i know they can do what they want, next time they can even "work" with lady gaga and nicki minaj. But don't you think that a collaboration with Corinne Bailey is like a match made in heaven ? I'm not against featurings and collaborations, for example i would like to hear Jonsi and Bon Iver in a "duet" with Chris....but Rihanna is too much, she's all i hate about the mainstream music today.
  20. there will be a dvd in the deluxe edition of the new album, i'm curious to see the recording sessions with jacknife lee in that beautiful house in malibu!
  21. IT'S FUNNY that you are saying to me to grow up :P
  22. this is just an excuse. those lyrics can be part of a story but it doesn't change that those lyrics are horrible.
