  1. I'm not even excited about that. :blank: AWKWARD TURTLE
  2. ...he's gotten sick fairly often recently. Unfortunately, I'm hardly interested in anything any more. :shame: I can imagine. :P
  3. Hi Taameen. I attempted to start watching Chugga's Emerald LP. Then I got tired of it. I think I'm getting tired of the internet. :uhoh:
  4. And I can't start running Sorry, I had to. :P
  5. Maybe because they have nothing better to do.
  6. /too lazy to think deeply  AROBTTH was released when I was four. See You Soon was released when I was one or two years old. I don't think I can remember when I heard either for the first time. :P
  7. Isn't it dazzling? ...and those still don't make sense. So when the deeper that the knife goes in The more you win You end up with less than where you begin How do you WIN if the knife goes in deeper? You're being killed/critically injured, for crying out loud. I think I heard See You Soon when I was really little, because it seemed really familiar when I heard it 'for the first time.'
  8. Now, the acoustic guitar version of Yellow...:dazzled: I still can't understand half of Rainy Day's lyrics. :blank: Technically, they were my friend's babysitter, not mine, but oh well. :P I didn't even realize that Clocks was by Coldplay until I listened to AROBTTH for the first time (which was after I listened to VLVODAAHF).
  9. I used to rule the world Seas would rise when I gave the word Lovers in Japan is probably another one of my favorites. That was the song that really made me interested in Coldplay. (thanks, random babysitter!) It doesn't sound anything like the typical version of Yellow I'm used to hearing. :P
  10. I like it better with a guitar. Sorry. :P Most of the time, I can't even understand the lyrics of a song I'm listening to for the first time. :P
  11. I still am. :charming: ..when I listened to that, I kept thinking, "When is this going to morph into Gravity?"
  12. And it's from 2006. :blank: My dad's turning sixty nine (....PBD :uhoh:) this year. Jonny Cash was nine years old when my dad was born. EXACTLY. I don't even attempt to analyze most lyrics.
  13. Everything is sexual to Brent.
  14. I would put VLV itself in that list. :P Glass of Water :dazzled: ....there's a piano acoustic version of Yellow?
  15. Avril Lavrigne. I grew up with classical music without lyrics; I wasn't even exposed to modern music until I was around eleven or twelve. Don't get me wrong, lyrics are important for me, but I can overlook lyrics that aren't completely empty, as long as the melody sounds great. True enough. :P (I still don't understand the lyrics to Strawberry Swing, though. :uhoh:)
  16. For the longest time, I didn't understand Yes's (?) lyrics. I do now, but I still like the lyrics to Violet Hill much more. :wacky: Good plan. Which fifteen?
  17. People still remember Girlfriend, and those lyrics are definitely worse than Princess of China. To be honest, I'm more of a melody person. While lyrics do affect how likely it is that I will love a song, the song's actual sound is what hooks me. ..which is why I love VLV so much.
  18. :dazzled: I have erased the CB video from my memory by watching the live video over and over again. I haven't been in a Coldplay mood for almost a month now. :uhoh:
  19. :wacky: Wait, what about Charlie Brown and HLH? :uhoh:
  20. MaxRide replied to grids's topic in Lounge Games
I think so, but I'm not sure. sq
