So it turns out that the following pages: http://shop.coconuts.com/product.aspx?sku=63978192&loc=41179 http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0006L16N8/ref%3Dpd%5Fsim%5Fpm%5Fdp%5F1/026-4854438-7062036 posted different album samples, of which all but one overlap. Merging the two files for each track, you get longer album samples (approx 50 seconds each, though some are more or less)! I'm assuming it's ok to post these as the individual files are freely available! EDIT: The files got taken down so I guess it wasn't ok - sorry! :(

given you're on 56k, why not just tell us where you got it and those of us with broadband could just grab it and share it unless of course this is all bullshit :rolleyes: see ya

OK, here's the deal: Live in Stockholm, Sweden, on Saturday 23rd November 2002, Coldplay played a brand new song, previously unheard, called "Marianne" or "Sweet Marianne". It has been described as a "full on rock song" by fans who got to hear it. A guy called Gromit claimed to have recorded this song (thinking it to be called "Madelaine" - see his posts on this page: http://coldplay.artscience.net/vbb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=20513&perpage=30&highlight=marianne&pagenumber=2 I've emailed him to ask if he's got it and could maybe help us get hold of a copy. Maybe if some other people wrote this guy a nice email, he might be willing to share it with us? Or maybe someone else out there also recorded the gig? Even if we can't get hold of Gromit, let's hope that Coldplay play this tune again on the next leg of their tour, and maybe even more new songs!!!
