[5-Jul-2012] Coldplay @ Wells Fargo Center, Philadelphia, PA, USA
Work of Art This show was a work of art from beginning to end. The stage was amazing, the confetti was amazing, including I found one shaped like a flame, all the guitar playing was amazing, the guys playing songs on the improvised stage in the back. My section 221 was standing for most of the show!! Can I also just say that I was worried our view would be obstructed, it was an awesome view, we could see Chris playing the piano and he moved around the crescent (back of the stage) often enough we felt so included; I'm sure the seats closer were awesome but our seats were so awesome too!! What else, Chris at the beginning thanked the audience for coming, whatever stress we had to get through to get there, Dear Chris thank you for even thinking of us!! I mean, I really felt like he so appreciated all of us being there. Loved all the fans who were still singing chorus on the way out of the Wells Fargo Center!!

Awesome in Philly Don't know if this is the right place to post but on our way home from the July 5th concert in Philly, The band....couldn't have done it more perfectly, the sound the energy and the love, yes Philly was feeling the love. Come back soon, all I can say is I can't wait for the next tour.

MYL OXYL OTO - My take on Coldplay's clever and perhaps subversive new album title
Did we figure out what the title meant? Ok it's the night before the first concert in Philly and I want to know if the band has clarified any further what Mylo Xyloto means. I don't think it has only one meaning. It might be about two characters, but it also seems like the letters are a puzzle for us to solve. Too bad we don't have a code cracker to look at this. Even if Mylo and Xyloto are two characters, it doesn't mean that looking at the letters in different configurations might mean something else. Just to toss out this, if you look at the last four letters together, LOTO one of the meanings of LOTO is Leader of the Oppressed. After googling this, Abraham Lincoln is one figure in history who has been called a leader of the oppressed, but more frequently it is God himself who is cited as the Leader OF THE Oppressed. Am I the only one who seems to find hidden religious meanings in Coldplay's Lyrics? Is it possible that somehow through these words that seem to have no meaning, the band has encoded God's name? I don't know, but I find the music pretty inspiring.
