  1. You should post some pictures here :)
  2. That is what I was talking about. Of course I wouldn't paint the whole guitar with a pen :P I was asking if these pens are what Mollyxyloto was talking about ;) Regards João Norim
  3. No reply is too long :D Is this what you're talking about? I'm not trying to replicate the design, I want something in a similar style, but my words, from my band :P Thanks for the answer ;) Best regards João Norim

    TY ;)
  5. About the question in the first post: To sand it just buy some sand paper (I think that's how it's called in English) and exercise your arms :P If you want to sand it to the wood, then you will have to apply wood filler (again, I don't know if the name is correct), primer, and then the paint. If you want, you can sand only a bit, leaving the current paint job as a base, and paint on top of what you have now. About the neck, it's recommended that you remove it, if you don't want to get some paint on it... But depending on the guitar, the neck may be removable or not... If it is a Fender style (Strat or Tele) you just have to remove the screws at the back of the neck pocket. Also you should remove the bridge, pickups, jack plate, and everything you don't want to risk to damage... Good luck ;) Regards João Norim

    Thanks everyone ;)
  7. I'll buy some glow in the dark and fluorescent paint, and make some experiences. And I've done this before. I know what can harm the guitar, and what I have to do to avoid it ;) Thanks for the advice anyway.

Hi! Just registred here. As I'm a huge Coldplay fan, I don't know how I hadn't discovered this forum before... I'm from Portugal by the way... Well, I registred to get some help about a custom painted guitar I want to do, similar to what the band has been using lately. You can check here: http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showthread.php?p=5384529 Best regards ;)
  9. Hi everyone! I'm new to the forum, and my first post will be about a custom paint job I want to do in a guitar I recently bought for this purpose. Excuse me for not so perfect English, but I'm Portuguese... So not a native speaker here ;) So I have this new guitar (it was a very cheap one): And I want to do something like this: Or even this kind of thing (on the two panels, in front of the amps): What I want from you are some tips :P What do you advice me to do? What I've been trying is spray paint some random stuff in A3 paper sheets, and see where it goes... I've not tried very hard, but I still don't have anything close to what I want... By now I only have spray cans. Maybe I'll buy some paint, and glow in the dark stuff to try new things... What do you recommend to make the handwritten stuff? Is there any kind of special marker to do that? Thanks and best regards João Norim ;)
