  1. People burying their dead...
  2. I don't see why people don't love What If. The lyrics are brilliant, and I've never heard a song quite like it.
  3. The album artwork is not only representive in itself, but also in every song of the album. Each song has so many allusions and parallels that it would take centuries to write about the album cover. If you get what I'm saying....
  4. -Fix You -Swallowed In The Sea -Charlie Brown -'Til Kingdom Come -Amsterdam
  5. If a picture is worth a thousand words, then the AROBTTH album cover is a novel. I also love the Without Parachutes art.
  6. Too long? You can never have enough Coldplay... And yes I agree that AROBTTH is a better complete album. It flows nicely. Much like Mylo Xyloto (And not just because of the transition songs :P) But X&Y will still have that special place, all because of the #1 song of all time.
  7. I don't know what you're talking about.... :)
  8. I meant underrated!!! I love the guitar riff in it! Sorry for the mess up.
  9. Oh yes yes yes. Please don't get me wrong. I love every single Coldplay album, old and new. But as I said "IF" i had to pick one, I'd choose X&Y.
  10. Everything thinks that A Rush Of Blood To The Head is the best album from Coldplay, but I've always loved X&Y. I'll explain. But first of all, these are just my opinions, and I'm sure alot of you disagree :) Let's compare, first of all, Coldplay's greatest song of all time is on X&Y. I'm sure you know what it is. If you don't agree with me, you are deaf. Fix You sums up Coldplay so well. Fix You is why I fell in love with Coldplay. Now don't get me wrong, The Scientist is amazing, too, but it doesn't have that impact that Fix You does, especially the guitar riff at the end. Now comparing the beginning songs on each album. Square One vs. Politik. Square one is an absolute amazing song to start off X&Y, but I think Politik takes this one. I mean nothing is better than the dramatic piano after the beginning climax. What If is brilliant. I'm sorry, but it just is. In My Place is good too. God Put A Smile Upon Your Face though, I just never thought to be that good of a song. Clocks of course is a Coldplay classic. So is Green Eyes. At the end of Rush of Blood, is the Rush of Blood song and Amsterdam. Two amazing songs. But do they compare to the last two (not including Twisted Logic) of X&Y: Swallowed in the Sea and 'Til Kingdom Come? In my opinion, absolutely not. The Hardest Part is waaaaaay underrated. Speed of Sound is beautiful. "And birds go flying at the speed of sound....." A Message gets me every time. In conclusion, if I was left to pick one or the other, X&Y would be my choice. Tell me what you think....
  11. Beginning of Us Against the World. Also Famous Old Painters. And Yellow.
  12. If I were you, I'd definitely start with X&Y. That is what Coldplay is all about.
  13. I'll pay $5 for one via Paypal. I want one so bad. Msg me.
  14. I'm feeling a little Charlie Brown inside me today. God that sounded so wrong. But Charlie Brown does get me pumped up. Also, See You Soon for when I need to calm down.
  15. How the fuck do you not like "Up In Flames" or "UFO"....seriously? 1. Everything's Not Lost 2. Low 3. God Put A Smile Upon Your Face 4. Lost! 5. Princess of China
  16. "And the hardest part, was letting go, not taking part" Best part of the whole song. I love it.
  17. 1. Reign of Love 2. Life is for Living 3. Famous Old Painters Boom!
