Okay, so the Grammy Nominations came out today, and Coldplay is up for two awards. They are: 1. Best Song Written For Visual Media- Atlas 2. Best Music Film- Live 2012 I believe the Grammys are next January 26th. So, how many of the Grammys do you think they'll win? -----------------

To be honest, the length of the lyrics make it seem like this song ma be pretty short, unless there's a lot of breaks in between and really long notes. And I have to agree that it seems like it will be a quieter song than what was on MX. Hopefully this means that Coldplay will be announcing more information on their LP6, and maybe if this song is good enough, then they will include it on the album, if it flows with the rest of the songs that they've recorded.

Honestly, here's who'll probably win: Record of the Year: We Are Young (fun. feat. Janelle Monae). However, I would also love to see Lonely Boy win as well. Album of the Year: This is going to be very tough, but I'm gonna say that Some Nights will win. Again, if El Camino won, I'd be thrilled. Best New Artist: Either fun. or Frank Ocean, but I can't really tell. Now, for the Coldplay nominated awards: Best Rock Performance: Lonely Boy definetly wins. This category is way too competitive for Coldplay this year, although CB may place 2nd in the voting (maybe). Best Rock Album: Either El Camino or Blunderbuss, because they're also Album of the Year nominees, so it's definently one of the two. Unfortunately, Mylo doesn't stand a chance. Sorry if I dissapointed anyone.

Favorite Coldplay member. Now, I know that this is like picking a favorite child for some people, but I want to see what the Coldplayers out there think. So, who is it? P.S.- I know that there are probably a thousand threads out there like mine, but I don't care!

New Coldplay 6th Album? So, first there were rumors that Coldplay was going to be on a three-year hiatus. Now, Chris Martin has recently said that he is already writing new songs for a 6th album, and is so pumped about the band's future. I've even seen that they may begin recording some of these songs within the next month or so. What do you guys think about a 6th album? And, what do you want the album to sound like/what theme(s)? Actually, you'd be right in that case. I'm not quite sure what the person was asking about though. You did, however, bring up a great point!

1. Well, Princess of China is absolutely NOT a rock song, and could only possibly go in the Pop category. 2. Unfortunately, there is no Artist of the Year category at the Grammy's. There's a Best New Artist, but clearly Coldplay is not new. Sorry.

Yes, you are right. Actually, I believe that Paradise's music video can be nominated, but not the song itself.

Well, the date every year is September 30th. So, then any album/song released between October 1st, 2011 and September 30th, 2012 can be nominated. Mylo Xyloto falls in this category, since it was an October 24th release.

1. When Coldplay comes on in a public place, and you sing and dance, and everyone looks at you really weird. 2. When March 2nd is a more important birthday than you're own (Happy B-day Chris!) 3. When you consider going as Chris Martin for Halloween (or anyone else for that matter). 4. When you count down the days until you see them live, and it's roughly 1/2 a year. That's all I've got for now!
