Anyone Know Anything About Busking...?
Be polite, ask a shop owner if you can play in front, or maybe talk to a cop in the place where you want to play. And if someone asks you leave, leave. The trick is to look not like a beggar, but a musician who needs to make a few bucks to eat. European countries are much more lenient to busking in the streets than in certain cities in the U.S. due to post 911 terror concerns believe it or not. Peace, CJT EDIT: Futher research has revealed that in some areas you may actually apply for a permit. I've actually heard of this in Santa Monica, Calif. Scientist tablature live version
I have a reallly good video of Chris playing the Scientist at a radio station. One chord eludes me, mainly because it seems to difficult to fret. First, retune high e to c. The first chord appears to be a Dm played at : c-0 B-10 G-10 D-12 A-12 E-10 - or - c-0 B-9 G-9 D-11 A-11 E-9 Is either chord correct and how can you fret this chord without muting the open c?
