  1. haha..yeah! I believe we were the ONLY two who posted pics of ourselves blowing bubbles from gum on the "other" board. It was great fun.
  2. I try not to think of those things, but I'm the type who can picture things all too well. I don't need to see awful things on t.v., I'm already a scaredy as it is!
  3. I wonder the same thing.. like if your life flashes before your eyes or something.
  4. that's good! I'm happy you aren't plagued with this phobia!
  5. Oh that's crazy.. a dear friend recently died while jumping off a cliff.. landed the wrong way and it broke his neck. Heights are no good. I'm serious too, I'll go in an elevator to like the 3rd floor, that's it! But even then I can just picture the cables snapping. :/
  6. Yes seriously! I knew I was afraid of flying, but now I can add "elevators to the 9th floor" to my list. :/
  7. Wow I'm worse than I thought.. today we went to visit my husband's in-law in the hospital.. so we get there and find out she's on the 9th floor. :o I don't do elevators, so I was looking for the stairs. I told my husband (who doesn't take so kindly to my anxiety  ) to go on in the elevator without me.. sooo I find the stairwell and it looks all desolate like you see in the movies when ladies get mugged.. so I just stayed right on the first floor and visited this wonderfully nice, older English lady who worked in the gift shop.. :D I'm such a chicken. But that lady was so nice! :) So, are you afraid of heights?
  8. Mmm..we have this new frozen custard place, but I know it's got to be SOOOO fattening cause it's just too good. Ah well, it's why I walk every night. :D
  9. Oh good.. I won't take it personally then! But really, it's okay to respond to compliments! :) Jewel, nice to see ya! I was wondering if that was you! :D And shucks, I thought I was the only one here with kiddies, thus making me the "Official Mom" of the board. Looks like someone beat me to it!
  10. Hey thanks! :D I think I'm the ONLY 27 year old mom on here.
  11. Deoderant is good. I've smelled those old guys who don't believe in wearing any, and that's just... well, hard to take. :o
  12. Haha.. maybe he just wants to hear them from other people besides me! :idea2:
  13. Yep it was awful.. really bad stuff.
  14. Why oh why.. yeah I had to steal that from you it was so catchy. :P I HAVE read "It", and it was awful! So very disturbing, and the sad sad thing is that it goes on all lots but we never really stop to think about it..that is until you see it first hand.
  15. Haha..I just mean he never responds to my compliments, so I just guess their not good enough! By the way, thanks for the compliments y'all. :D
  16. beating on other people? I swear it's everywhere I go!!!!!!!! I've had the opportunity to witness (while driving) people who like to abuse others. The last time it happened a guy was swerving alllll over the road and when I looked to see what the deal was, to my astonishment he was reaching behind him hitting his kids and then also his wife in the passenger side. I raced and raced to get the tag # but cars filed in front of me and he sped away. :/ Fastforward to today.. my kids and I are driving minding our own business when the lady in front of me starts hitting on her child who was in the front seat of the car! :o I thought, oh sh*t here I go again.. so it's like 10 minutes of driving and she keeps reaching over and smacking him, the poor child is practically plastered to the window trying to get away from her wrath. Thankfully, I had her license # and the make of her car burned in my mind, and went directly to the police station! The bad thing? They were acting like it wasn't that big a deal!! I mean the police station was RIGHT where she was! They could've sent someone immediately to check out the situation. It took them a whole 5 minutes before they finally just asked me to leave the information, I don't even know if anything was done! I live in such a warped state, it's like # 1 in the nation for child abuse and neglect, and now I see why! No one acts like they give a damn!!!
  17. I've given him compliments, but they aren't good enough. :/
  18. kalter zug, musiclover... thankies! :D
  19. Heh, yeah I like using my check card too! It's so much easier! Well, as interesting as our conversation is, my darn legs are falling asleep again. Gotta get to bed for real now!! Take care! :) :snore:
  20. Wow, really? What do you use?? Cash?
  21. Haha..thanks! Yeah it's so embarrassing the few times I've had to ask.. though he's always so nice about it, telling me he had to borrow from his parents lots when they were younger,etc..etc..! He's great, but yeah! It's time I start learning to add and subtract a little bit more carefully!! :D
  22. thanks! ;)
