Yeah I get that. I sorta just keep writing until I have enough good songs for an album, and the. I replace the 2nd rate song with better ones, and so on. If you like the stuff you have, keep it, and then if you think of something better you don't have to keep it anymore

Well, it depends. If you really like the stuff you've written, then I'd keep it. But if you don't you should keep writing new stuff
