I just ordered my tickets for Arnhem (after 2 frustrating hours of hassle with the ordering system) and they came to about 45 euros apiece, which I think is about $55.

What a disaster: nearly two hours on, and still no luck. At one time I finally got through the payment process but by then my order at the ticketservice had already expired. This blows. :angry:

Well, I succeeded in getting into the ticket service site, but now the payment site (twyp) is having incredible troubles keeping up with the traffic. You'd think they'd know by now that peak hours do exist... Still trying...

I received two emails. One a couple of days ago with a special login code that I should use to login to the ticketservice site, and one today reminding me that the presale will start tomorrow. Neither email said anything about the presales being overordered, though.

Big :( First Heineken Music Hall, then Ahoy, then Gelredome. What's next? Amsterdam Arena? Personally, I don't like these big venues. HMH is good, Ahoy is okay (sizewise; soundwise is another matter), but those stadiums... Oh well, I guess it's a natural progression due to their increasing popularity. (But of course I reserved my tickets :D)

Don't believe anything Amazon says about release or publication dates unless confirmed by the record company or publisher. Amazon has a long history of making up release dates as they go. I'm not saying that this date is false, just that you'd better find a corroborating source.

A friend recommended Parachutes to me a couple of years ago. However, I didn't become a real fan until after the band performed the first notes of Politik at the pre-AROBTTH concert where I first saw them live.

Nope: couldn't care less! :P

The last place (figuratively speaking) where I would want to be right now is in the boys' shoes. I would certainly buckle under the enormous pressure everyone is putting on them regarding the third album. I really hope that the hyping does not go too far but with still three months to go and articles like Q's I'm afraid it will go sky high. And when you hype something to infinity and beyond, the hyped object will eventually always disappoint. And that would be very unfair.

With all this talk of Gwyneth going along on the boys' tour next year, is anyone else having Spinal Tap flashbacks? :stunned:

Yes, an English four-piece who took the world by storm with their debut Parachutes a few years ago, but haven't lost their personal or musical integrity. They'll have a new album out in the new year.

You're absolutely right: on Parachutes all songs are credited Berryman, Buckland, Champion, Martin

Amazon is in the habit of making up imaginary release dates for items such as books and albums. I wouldn't trust this until it is confirmed by Coldplay or someone closely affiliated with them.

Now if anyone had said they were listening to Coldplay or something in that vein, this would actually be an on-topic thread! :D
