  1. My best Ticketmaster strategy is to keep going for what you want, even if you don't get them at first. For these, try to get the $113 tickets instead of the two lower price levels, since there aren't many of those tickets behind the stage. Then at least you'll have a great upper level view of the concert! Try to use the fastest computer you can, so plug into Ethernet and try it on a campus or office computer if possible because they have the best internet connections. Do a Ctrl+F5 refresh so that the ticket selection box shows up right at 10am. If you want the $113 tickets, make sure you select that instead of doing Best Available. And if they don't show up the first time around, keep trying for the next 10-20 minutes because sometimes they drop tickets a little later than the onsale time, or people release their ticket selections from their cart. A lot of persistence, two computers, and even friends and family helping you on Saturday morning will definitely pay off :) GOOD LUCK!!
  2. I'm not sure why sales for this are slow, I mean, look back to 2010 when Coldplay and Jay-Z played in Vegas on NYE. I'm pretty sure Kanye, Beyonce, and a bunch of other artists made special appearances during the show. This is gonna be CRAZY! I'm thinking about going to the show on the 29th in Connecticut, but I also don't want to go alone. But idk.. it can't be that bad!
  3. ATTENTION ALL THOSE WHO DON'T HAVE A CITI CARD BUT WOULD LIKE PRESALE TICKETS! There will be a Live Nation presale at 10am ET tomorrow, via Ticketmaster.com and the Live Nation mobile app for Android and iPhone. The password is RECORD. How do I know this? I work for Live Nation, and it's also posted on their Facebook page. You can either use the Live Nation mobile app with no password, or the website on your computer with the password RECORD. This applies for the 12/30 show as well! Cheers :)
  4. I sat in the upper level behind the stage for about half the concert in DC back in July. It wasn't that bad, as long as that big round screen isn't directly in your way I think you're good. Chris does occasionally run around to the back end of the stage to face those in the rear seats. The good news is Coldplay has been known to give front row upgrades to die hard fans seated way back there ;)
  5. Looking for the presale code as well. If you are uncomfortable posting it in this forum, please PM it to me!
  6. I was in DC too! I got 4 floor tickets in section 1 (but not the super crazy VIP ones, they were still $200 each though) and 4 for December 31st with Jay-Z in the upper level. I was already gonna be in NYC anyway with friends, and one of them has an apartment in Manhattan, so I would have a place to stay. I was gonna take a Bolt Bus up and back and MAYBE even rent a car to drive up to Connecticut for the other show. This is all costing me a fortune, most of which I don't have, but I really don't care because I live for Coldplay :) By the way, for Bolt Bus, tickets go on sale 4-6 weeks before travel. Megabus, they might be on sale already, I'm not sure. I see though that they reserved the first 3 rows on the floor once again for possible upgrades... because for the $750 VIP package, the best row was 6, and the Platinum seats only gave Row 4. I'm totally going all out for an upgrade :) I'm definitely thinking we do a meetup of Coldplayers!
  7. Totally going to all 3 of these shows. Holy ****.
  8. Bought my ticket for the Angelika in Fairfax outside Washington, DC! SO EXCITED AHHH can't wait to wear all my swag :)
  9. That's really strange, I haven't gotten anything like that :o
  10. There are rumors going around in this thread/the internet about the band taking 12 months off for various reasons (such as Chris relocating to LA) but they're all exactly that, rumors. I'm basing my guesses on their touring history and the timing, and that's all. Maybe I'm being too wishful, but I see the tour continuing after a winter hiatus.
  11. I was just coming on here to post these EXACT numbers, and you beat me to it! ;) I completely agree that there will be more tour dates. Just look at the box office score data on the Wikipedia page... this tour is a massive success financially. I see them still doing Asia, SA, and outdoor NA venues. It's a no brainer.
  12. the European leg loves live streams. i'm almost expecting more now... i hope :\
  13. One of the few and proud POC fans right here
  14. Plugged into ethernet, now I'm good :) the TuneIn link didn't seem as good anyway.
  15. I love the anticipation. Standing there before the show starts, waiting for them to come out, then hearing 99 Problems... its suchhhh an exciting feeling :) it's not bad waiting on the computer either! haha
  16. Muse. Great band, not their best song though.
  17. Best link: http://mediathek-audio.br.de/index.html?playeronly=true&channelId=b3 Second best link: http://tunein.com/radio/BAYERN-3-973-s14991/ From page 10 :) enjoy!!
