Have you noticed that in past interviews, Coldplay really hated talking about the meaning of their albums because it made them sound all pretentious. They always tried to change the subject when the subject came up in interviews and whenever they were asked about their lyrics, they always admitted that there wasn't much meaning to them.

 

Now, they are talking about mathmatical geometry and inventions and all that. They done the comlete opposite and are taking themselves really seriously. Thoughts?

eeennh, i'm not so sure about that. its kind of subjective and all in how you see it. if you're looking for them being a certain way, you could pretty much find evidence for anything somewhere.

I also noticed that..but I think it's better that they say something about how they came up with the name of the album and meanings of the songs and balablabla instead of us just wondering.... It's nice to wonder..but you are never really sure...

maybe 'fatherhood' ahs done something to him.. I mean, he hasnt negated that fact.. and now Guy is married.. and Will.. perhaps they are at a different point in their life and feel the need to elaborate on it. *shrugs*
