i've been lurking around this site for a while now, but i never really thought about signing up as a member and posting here until X&Y came out, and now it's sort of spurring me into action, so here i am.

 

also, i wanted to ask...how do i get a picture to appear underneath my name on the sidebar when i post a message? hopefully somebody here can help me. thanks!

Ok if you go into your profile, scroll down to the end until you see something about an "avatar" you can either upload one from your computer (the picture has to be relatively small) or you can link to one from another site :)
