October 11, 200520 yr Author so here i am at work..(god i hate monday's) reading my new St, King book. it's called The Colorado Kid, it's actually really short, only 184 pages, he wrote it for a small publisher that specializes in crime fiction, it's not one of his typical horror stories, it's more of a mystery so far I'm only 20 pages into it, but it's pretty good so far, if things stay quiet at work I should be able to finish it tonight Anyone read it? :idea2:
October 14, 200520 yr I'm surprised no one has mentioned Salem's Lot (apparently one of the scariest books ever but I didn't find it too bad) and The Stand. Both really good books of his :D
October 15, 200520 yr i read TommyKnockers the story in itself is not scary but reading it at night is................. :( ............i'm such a scardy cat............... :/
October 15, 200520 yr the best adaptation of a steven king work has to be "shawshank redemption" from the short story "rita hayworth and the shawshank redemption" - at least i think so :P
October 15, 200520 yr Yes, Shawshank was fantastic, as was Stand By Me. Two of the best movie adaptations of his writings. ;)
