Projection screens?

Featured Replies

Does Coldplay use those giant projection screens in their concerts that allow you to see the band a little clearer? I ask because I want to see them in Louisville, and it looks like I'll have sit in the nosebleed section. Unfortunately I only recently discovered their music, so I'll have to wait for another year to snag good seats. But the giant screens would help.

Steve,

Glad to see I'm not the only over 35 person on these boards!

I can't imagine they won't use screens and other elements of major visual production for an arena show.

I almost decided to go to Louisville, since I'm in Tennessee. Instead, I'll be in New Jersey and New York in March.

When we saw Coldplay this past summer at Starwood in Nashville, there might have been as many people as an arena show; my stepson had lawn, and he thought it was great from there. I think they used screens at that show.

On U2 tour, I had as much fun at my nosebleed show as at my sidestage show.

They've pretty much used screens for all this tour, they seem to be aware that us people in the rafters still want to see a show!
